Paid a return visit to our favourite restaurant in Carcassonne. We have been coming here for many years and have appreciated the freshness and originality of the menu as well as the excellent service. The service is still excellent but alas something has changed with the kitchen. There is nothing to distinguish from other restaurant menus any longer. My husband enjoyed his main course (sauté beef) but none of the other dishes were noteworthy. It's a little hidden and you're guaranteed not to pass by by mistake. However, it's so busy at lunchtime that you need a reservation. There are lots of seats outside and lots in the shade.
