Initially staff were very welcoming, particularly the barman. We were seated and he tidied up. Ordered wine, which was nice, and free tap water. Went with menu of the day and was told the meat of the day (for a supplement) was sirloin. Hubby had goats cheese salad for starter and I had the deli plate. Both were excellent - I really enjoyed the rough pate. Mains things went downhill - hubby's cassoulet was overcooked and dry. Mine was a disaster. Meat was bavette - which I actually like - but I had asked for medium and it was well done. Also I had asked for potatoes not the chips it was served with. When I pointed this out I was told yes I can see you asked for medium and potatoes - but not even an apology! Desserts included were chocolate mousse - overwhipped and grainy and creme brulee which was nice texture but flavoured with vanilla flavouring rather than natural. Overall not terrible but there are...

The ambience while packed was not too loud and convivial this environment, and the staff definitely defined the word hospitality, which is the art of making guests feel comfortable. French hospitality at its finest I highly recommend. I left an a fantastic mood and the rest of my day was so much better. I have...

Simple patio setting upon a cobblestone plaza, beneath an umbrella, our table was prepared with seating introduced. Orders of refreshment were taken, and then it was time to choose from the varietied menu offering. Quickly, our cool drinks arrived a relief from the afternoon sun. We received exceptional world-class customer service. The food was generous with its portions and delicious. Desert is a must, be it ice cream or just a coffee. We enjoyed the day....
