A room that is successful to the icing on the cake, with lots of homemade furniture and the kitchen at the same time. Living art. Two hosts who, as creators of the room, the menu and the concept, and probably of their own lives, live so much passion and dedication that they seem to feel happy in creating a great evening for their guests.

The food is simply wonderful, with only two starters, main courses and desserts on the menu, which obviously changes frequently - but creative and of the highest standard!

We are very grateful to have spent the evening here tonight and wish them many guests who appreciate what they have to offer.

If I could award six stars, I would.

I don’t post many reviews, but Poulpette is truly outstanding. Amongst the best cooking I’ve experienced anywhere, not just in France. And I’ve been fortunate enough to eat in some spectacular places. Perfectly judged and imaginative dishes that will live long in our memories. And don’t bother choosing the wine, just leave it to them and try something wonderful that you’ve likely never tasted - or even heard of. It was so good that we cancelled our reservation at the Michelin starred Les Foudres in Cognac so we could go to Poulpette a second time.

If Poulpette was in London or New York, you wouldn’t be able to get a table less than three months ahead of time. Honestly, if you can get a table, don’t bother with...

I loved the food here! If you go when it opens at 12pm, then you can get the best experience with the two chefs. The ingredients are sourced daily and locally so the menu changes. At the bottom you can choose the surprise me feature which is basically up to the chefs decision to choose all three plates for you - appetizer, entree and dessert. Very unique and fun experience.
