An Unexpected Gem in Colmar! Our travel plans took an unexpected turn, landing us in Colmar much later than anticipated. With rumbling stomachs and the clock ticking, my wife quickly searched for highly-rated restaurants open late. What we found was nothing short of a lifesaver. We arrived at a bustling, full restaurant, a sight that usually spells doom for a party of nine without a reservation. But just as hope began to dwindle, a keen-eyed waiter noticed us patiently waiting outside. He approached with a smile, and despite our lack of a booking, confidently declared, "No problem, give us 5 minutes." True to his word, within minutes, we were being led to a freshly vacated, long table — a testament to their incredible efficiency and customer service! From that moment on, the evening was a delight. The food was absolutely superb, each dish a flavorful testament to their culinary prowess. The staff were incredibly friendly and understanding, making us feel right at home despite our late arrival and impromptu seating. And the best part? The prices were incredibly fair, especially given the quality and portion sizes. The atmosphere was awesome and lively, filled with the happy chatter of diners, creating a truly memorable experience. So Good, We Went Back for More! Our first experience was so exceptional that we decided to return for our second night in Colmar, and we were yet again pleasantly surprised by every aspect. It's rare to find a place that consistently delivers, but this restaurant managed to exceed our expectations twice over. The consistent quality of the food, the unwavering friendliness of the staff, and the vibrant atmosphere all contributed to another fantastic evening. While a cold beer would have perfectly rounded off the first night, the experience itself was so overwhelmingly positive that its absence was barely noticed. Tasty food for decent prices in a nice and Cody atmosphere near the center of Colmar!

We hesitated at first because the menu was not very large and rather international, but everything we tried was very good and tasty, even the kids menu.

We especially enjoyed the sauce 'fait maison', the fried potatoes, meat, vegetables, burgers and not least the presentation.

It is a very good choice for dining in with family and kids on a budget. One thing I found particular and with mentioning, they do not Seve any alcohol, not even beer, but they serve cocktails, also with the kids menu. Since we were anyway driving, we didn't mind. We shopped at Auchan nearby some nice and cheap Leffe at served it later at home.

Overall it was a very pleasant experience and one restaurant where we would certainly want...

I arrived with 2 ppl after booking a table at 20h. We arrived at 19:50 but we had to wait at the door because the table wasn’t ready. We sat and ordered drinks and food. The drinks arrived promptly, but we had to wait for more than an hour to get our dishes. The two other people took steak and faux-fillet. Both over cooked, with small portions. Most of the dish was fries and salad. I took scampi tapas. Not bad, but id doesn’t justify the small portions neither the time to get the food. A pity because last time I was in Colmar, this place offered excellent food...
