ibis Colmar Centre — Hotel in Colmar-Ribeauvillé

We had a very nice relaxing stay, four nights, at the ibis Colmar Centre which is a great base for visiting Colmar. Check-in staff were very friendly and helpful as were all staff throughout our stay. The underground car park was easy to find and the car was very secure. Key coded entry for cars and pedestrians. We were upgraded to a larger room on fourth floor, Room 405, and although a little quirky in layout it was perfectly functional. A well-appointed bathroom with excellent shower and good lighting, separate toilet. The bed was very comfortable just lacking a better pillow selection, but we managed. It would have been nice to have a safety deposit box but it is not a deal breaker. Breakfast buffet was very tasty, lots of local produce, the Madeleines were freshly baked as was the bread. We had a very pleasant stay at this IBIS hotel which is a great base for visiting Colmar.||Check in staff were so helpful and this applied to all staff throughout our stay – thank you.||We requested a larger room on a higher floor and although a little quirky in layout it was perfectly functional. Compact bathroom with excellent shower and good lighting, separate toilet. The bed was very hard (personal choice) great A/C and very quiet, the two outside window shutters were superb. No tea/coffee, fridge or safety deposit box which we knew when booking but these would have been nice.||Breakfast buffet was very tasty, lots of local produce, the Madeleines were freshly baked as was the bread. We had the best stay during our Christmas market trip around Alsace. The reception is really kind and explained to us thoroughly about parking situation and how to go around the Colmar Christmas market.

The breakfast buffet is one of the highlights for me in every hotel stay. Although the space is small, the breakfast corner is so cozy and the food choices is more than what we expect. They serve there my favorite tea so I was extra happy!

I have no complaints about the room. It is not that cheap because of the high season. We got what we paid for, considering also its strategic location. We are almost whole day out anyway so it is really reasonable.
