PLEASANT DINING. WE ALWAYS ENJOY OUR MEALS We are repeat customers from the USA. We discovered La Galeria during our visit to Colmar in 2021 and been coming back annually since. The atmosphere is relaxing, with audible soft tasteful music and not too much distracting activity going on around you. The table and dinnerware are stylish and well done. All the items on the menu are winners. Our last day visit to Colmar included both lunch and dinner. My wife enjoys the salad with tuna, I bounce all over, getting what is recommended. Disappointed- after reading the reviews we tried this on our first night in Colmar - the Staff were friendly & the rear Courtyard was very pretty. Unfortunately the service was extremely slow - we waited close to 30 minutes before an Aperitif order was taken & a further 25 minutes before these drinks arrived & another 10 minutes before then our food order was taken. We shared a platter of meats & cheeses which was very large but tasty - unfortunately half way through eating it our Main Courses arrived & were taken back to the Kitchen. 25 minutes later our Main Courses returned/were renewed - the grilled beef kebab was very tough, the chicken burger quite dry.
