I suggested you to avoid this tourist trap. When I arrived in restaurant (if you can call it like that - it would be better to call is street food place), they showed me to the table that was in the middle of space. A lot of tables ware still empty at that moment. Space is filled with tables (to many of them). Afterwards I notice that they make a lot of effort filling "bad" tables first, I don't see the point in that, but it's their policy and they have right to do so. Some guests didn't like table and left. As my table was on frequent spot, waiters ware hitting me and my table when they pass by. But when I showed disagreement with their attitude, they started serving food over my table to the table next to me. Food was average, but staff is terrible. Rude and unprofessional. PS. They charge for bottle of regular water 7,60EUR. It is too much. Especially when they just leave closed...
Read moreWe are Anglo/Australians so we tend to have a substantial breakfast and skip lunch then start feeling hungry about 4-5pm. Unfortunately for us the French tend to stick to more rigid meal times. So, finding a restaurant that will serve food late in the afternoon is difficult. However, we came to this restaurant and to our delight it was serving food. I decided to try the traditional Tarte Flambe and ordered the one with smoked salmon. It arrived promptly and was fresh and delicious with loads of smoked salmon balanced by a pile of healthy spinach scattered over the top (so no need to order extra salad!). My other half had the Pizza des Copains which he enjoyed, especially as it came with generous amounts of ham. The staff were all attentive and pleasant. I'd definitely return to this restaurant if I was in...
Read moreWe walked into an empty restaurant and were a little apprehensive, but it quickly filled up with locals around noon! We had a seasonal moules frites (mussels with fries) and a flambée with champignons, and they were both excellent! The flambée was lovely and crispy, with juicy mushrooms and cheese. The mussels were fresh, and because we opted for them to be cooked in wine, only lightly marinaded with a nice blend of garlic, wine and celery. I've had moules frites a few times, including in Belgium, and this is one of the best ones with the largest portions I've had! Older lady had such a lovely energy as she bounced around taking orders and serving food. Location is great as well, right next to...
