We were a group of 25 people that booked places 2 weeks in advance. We wanted to taste some local food. The choice was very poor ( "the meniu" had something with pasta and another thing with potatoes). When we arrived, nothing was prepared (I do not mean bottles of wine and snacks, but at least some tap water). Some of us were sited together, some others were sited in another area. When we wanted to rearrange the tables so we all sat at least in the same area, we were "kindly" invited not to do so, because there is not enough space to pass with the food (apparently, 1 meter of passage, is not enough). The food ... I don't even remember what I had, for sure I didn't finish it. I had the impression that we were not welcomed there. I have to edit, since I remembered another thing: everywhere in this world, at a restaurant, after you finish eating, you are asked if you want to order something else, maybe coffee, or some wine. Well, not here. After finishing eating, we were told literally, to get out. In conclusion, after traveling all over Europe, I have never been treated that bad. 1...

Good food, interesting decor. A quaint little restaurant near the market with magical sorcerers and witches decorating the interior and exterior. Hearty meals done well that will fill hungry stomachs on a cold day. Prices are rather high for the simplicity of the dishes. Most impressive dish was the Canard burger which was delicious! Shredded duck confit smashed into a patty with crispy edges topped with juicy tomatoes, rocket leaves (balancing the richness of the patty) on a brioche bun, perfect! The fries were abiT of a let down as they were the frozen kind and were a little undercooked and bland. Only saved by the tomatoe ketchup that came on the side. Overall a satisfying but pricey meal if you are a tourist...

Beautiful little restaurant In Colmar. Enjoy the weather while you sit outside and people watch. While we dined, a local guitarist added music to the ambiance. The food was so-so, we tried the cheeseburger, pasta with meatballs and the cheese omelette, nothing was amazing. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things? Waiter was okay and spoke enough English for us to be able to order food.

Sub standard food for prices that would have garnered more elsewhere. Obviously re-heated and somewhat bland. Skimped on vegetables and sauce in my partner’s Rœsti. Dough was raw in places on my meat pie. We were also charged €3.50 for tap water - an unwelcome surprise which is NOT normal in France irrespective of what a tour book may have said 20 years ago. Would never return.
