Banana Blue — Restaurant in Grasse

Had a terrible occurrence at this restaurant. My girlfriend and I ate a pizza each at this restaurant, and had a cappuccino and espresso afterwards. All fine thus far. Before getting the bill, I needed to use the bathroom. So my partner asked for the bill in my absence and when she did, two male staff came to her with the card machine, no bill, and wouldn’t show the total to be paid. My partner asked could she see the bill to which they demanded €50, €50! She felt very intimidated at this point by the two men and reluctantly paid with card. This is all in my absence also which is infuriating because they knew what they were doing. When she asked for a receipt he scoffed at her and brought out a receipt that just read 2 meals, and €50. No breakdown.

Do not give these people your money, abysmal behaviour from men to make someone feel intimidated and actively try to con extra money from her....

Terrible service with no respect for customers!

This place is a complete disappointment. The staff are rude, disrespectful, and clearly don’t care about their clients. They try to charge you extra, delay giving you the bill, and speak to you as if your presence doesn’t matter at all.

The waiters don’t bother to explain portion sizes properly. We made several orders, and the portions turned out to be far too big for two people. When we mentioned it, they just laughed and said, “Oh yeah, it’s really big,” as if it were a joke.

Zero concern for their reputation or for providing a pleasant experience. The whole visit was a waste of time, and I strongly recommend avoiding this...

Friendly services. Is was busy luch time, most outisde seats are taken, but waitor ask a pair of guest to move their bags so we can have s like seats on the outside. Understanding we don't speak french...after order waitor automatically brought us water without asking, which i think is nice. We had burger set and a whole grilled fish. Both were good. Fish was fresh and grilled nicely... not over cooked as many west restaurants would with seafood. Its was nice location, we felt welcome food was great, and price...
