Frank ~ the owner, 1 of the very nicest human beings that I have ever met during my 70+ spins around the sun, greeted us immediately upon our arrival. Dead exhausted from waking up @ 5:00 A.M. to catch our plane and walking 4 hours around Cannes in humid heat, the instant that we met Frank ~ his super loving vibrational energy totally recharged our batteries. Blessing us with a table literally next to the beach, he personally served our expertly crafted delicious Mai Tais. A little hungry after draining 2 of Frank's magical elixirs, we ordered the "Petits Farcis in Provencal Style" ~ tender and succulent minced veal and other extraordinary goodies stuffed in little veggie canoes served over shaved parmesan & arugula. The dish was so scrumptious that we ordered an encore. We plan to dine at world-class Vegaluna again tomorrow and several other nights during our stay in Cannes. Frank and his affable ultra friendly team ~ especially our server Charlotte, deserve our ******* SALUTE!!!! "THE ENCORE" Returning to Vegaluna last Friday for our Grand Finale lunch, the cheeseburger was over-the-top juicy & flavorful and the accompanying pommes frites super crispy. Enjoying 6 full days at Vegaluna's Beach Resort, the front row view of the Mediterranean Sea and the Théoule Sur Mer Mountains was magnificent. Frederique and Louis ~ the ultra friendly Beach Captains, did a super job in assuring that we always had everything we needed. Anticipating the pleasure of returning to Cannes next year for 2 weeks, we highly recommend Vegaluna and their affable team of Jean-Pierre, Alison, Charlotte, Sebastian, etc. And of course Christicly charismatic Frank and his "not falling far from the tree" son Matías. Our ******* salute and gratitude to Vegaluna!!!

We had a very disappointing experience at Vega Can. Upon arrival, we were greeted quite coldly by the security at the entrance. When we asked if there were any available tables, he bluntly said the restaurant was completely full—despite the beach and dining area appearing nearly empty. Moments later, we managed to book a table online right in front of him. Suddenly, a table was available after he “checked with the owner.” Once seated, the service continued in the same dismissive tone. As for the food—it was well below expectations. The calamari tasted like low-quality frozen food, bland and rubbery. The spicy margarita was poorly balanced, with overpowering saffron threads floating in the drink, making it difficult to enjoy.the bread is so tough that you can not chew it and it hurts your mouth m. Awful. My main course, a beef tartar, was average at best, and the fries were soggy and flavorless. Dessert, a lemon tart, looked and tasted like it came straight from a freezer—nothing fresh or refined. For a bill of over €300, the experience was underwhelming across the board: poor hospitality, mediocre food, and absolutely no justification for the price. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

One of the many restaurants-come-private-beach areas dotted along the main strip of Cannes. We came to this one for one of the firework festivalevenings (there are 6 or so of these scatted across July/August each year). It was a set menu for adults (105€) and kids (35€) which was fairly reasonable. Despite being a set menu for the night, the food was very reasonable- glass of bubbles, sea bass tartare, then tuna steak, then a lovely cake. Wine list good, but upper price range. Efficient service. Didn't make use of the private beach area. The fireworks were superb (we caught the Swiss evening, with different country's best pyrotechnicians invited each year). If you are in Cannes for the summer, we highly recommend staying up with the kids (they start at 10pm) and ensuring a good viewing position on the beachfront- beit in a restaurant or elsewhere.

My wife originally booked a reservation here so that myself and my family could enjoy the beach club and watch the Bastille Day Fireworks on 14th July. We were really looking forward to coming here. She made the reservation in advance online and at no point during the booking process was there any mention of a deposit.

On the day of our booking, we were contacted and informed that our reservation would be cancelled unless we paid a €150 deposit per person. This last-minute demand was never mentioned earlier, and if it had been, my wife would not have booked here.

When she asked why we weren’t informed earlier, they claimed it was because the reservation was made online which is just unacceptable and highlights poor communication and unprofessionalism.

This sudden and unexpected charge has ruined our trip, as we specifically planned to see the fireworks from this location. It’s honestly appalling, especially considering they wanted the payment to be done over WhatsApp.

We are deeply disappointed and feel that Vegaluna decided to do a bait-and-switch in this case.

They have significantly impacted our holiday experience, and I will never recommend going here again due to their sheer unprofessionalism.

If they wanted to charge a deposit from the beginning, they should have stated that upfront. To change terms at the last minute and cancel reservations in this manner is a...

We visited Vega Beach on Friday, and unfortunately, it was one of the most unprofessional and disrespectful experiences I’ve ever had at a beach club.

Despite the relatively high entrance fee, the service was almost non-existent. Staff were rarely available to take orders, and when I finally managed to place one (a watermelon feta salad and French fries), the food arrived tasteless and underwhelming. I had to repeatedly ask for basic condiments like olive oil and mustard, and even then, it took a long time to get them — if at all.

After mentioning that my fries were cold by the time I got them, an older man — who appeared to be managing the beach area — approached me and started raising his voice, blaming me for the issue because I had gone swimming (even though I had already started eating before that). When I asked him to lower his voice and speak respectfully, he became aggressive, continued to yell, and told me I was no longer welcome at Vega Beach. I’m not sure he has the authority to make such a statement, but either way, the way he handled the situation was completely inappropriate.

This was a disappointing and unpleasant experience. I wouldn’t recommend Vega Beach based on how poorly guests are treated and the lack of basic...
