Restaurant Beryte — Restaurant in Grasse

We had a great dinner experience at Beryte in Cannes. We arrived a bit late, around 9:30 PM, but were seated quickly at a table inside without any wait. The staff was warm and welcoming, and our waiter was particularly attentive to our requests and the details of the order, which we really appreciated.

While there was a bit of a wait between placing the order and receiving the food, the service overall remained friendly and accommodating. We did ask if the dishes could be brought a bit faster, and they did their best. The music was on the louder side, creating a lively atmosphere. One guest at a nearby table asked to have it lowered, but personally, I felt it added to the ambience.

The highlight for me was the non-alcoholic cocktail with citrus, lemon, and mint—truly refreshing and perfectly balanced. For the main course, I had the Tawouk (marinated chicken), which was delicious. I would have loved a bit more of the garlic sauce—it was that good! The rice was well-prepared and aromatic, though it had a distinct flavor I couldn’t quite place—not my favorite, but still clearly crafted with care. The side salad was fresh and vibrant.

Food was great, plenty of options, healthy and good quality produce, however the main courses are severely overpriced. A few pieces of grilled chicken and fries or rice with not even a salad on the side for 36 euros and 18 euros for an average Mojito (and 7,50€ for a Cola!) is way too much even in Cannes. The service was quick and friendly at first, but after we were given dessert menus, we waited around 15min without anyone paying attention to us. After waving a couple hundred times, the guy came to take our order and only then told us that dessert we chose was not available today. Could have told us that while handing the menus. Then we kindly asked for the bill, waited another 10min for that and another 15min for someone to figure out that we wanted to pay by card (or even if we wanted to pay by cash, we would have waited to get our change back). And then the waiter was very surprised that me, a woman, asked for a cocktail with alcohol and wanted to pay the entire bill by myself at the end. Very mixed feelings from that dinner, but overall happy with the food quality, as we do like Lebanese...

102 euros ( 2 main dishes, 3 appetizers , 2 soft drink, 1 water ) Tried kufta and tawooq as main dishes

Taste:

Arrayes is delicious ! The rest you will either get high blood pressure or were normal.

I suggest to the managment to provide a sheet to customers with the bill for suggestions and comments and review them weekly.

Also there were people complaining of the soups that have alot of salt.

Others have been complaining about the Shawarma they say their is ginger taste in the shawarma.

Other than that if you want to lose your time...
