A mixed experience. The steak was delicious, but the service was inconsistent. Two friendly waitresses (1 took our order - she has black hair and in black shirt + 1 brought us food - she has blonde hair + white shirt) initially served us well. However, after our main course, we waited a long time for dessert. We understand that the restaurant was busy but we waited for a while and finally caught the attention of the waitress who had brought us our food. Sadly she said she couldn’t serve us cause it was the the other waitress, who was inattentive (black hair in white shirt), took over.
This inattentive waitress was slow in clearing dishes and bringing the dessert menu. I see the friendly waitresses checking on other guests to make sure they have good experience but we do not get to be checked + do not get fast service as well. We need to leave back to Nice so in a little bit hurry. When I asked how long dessert would take, she said “it’s pre-made” I think but at that time I misheard it. Then another guest sitting next to us explained again to me. After that she seemed very annoyed and returned quickly (in 1 min), slamming the dessert on the table without a word. This was the worst service I've experienced in France, overshadowing the efforts of the other attentive waitresses. Read moreThe food was okay but for €50 I would expect a bit more; especially on the service. The menu is not explained at all. You enter, they sit you down and start serving the food. The starter and first course are already pre-defined. You can basically choose between 5 main courses, not well explained either, they simply don’t care to sell the main course to you. They just read from a list. And you don’t get some time to read and make up your mind, you have to answer on the spot. The dessert, chocolate mousse for me, was too sweet and didn’t taste homemade. So basically, the only thing they seem to prepare is the main course. The rest can easily be done in advance and it’s a bit mediocre. You get a bottle of wine too, which you can choose between red, white and rose. However, they only have one type of red, white and rose, you can’t choose between a Chardonnay and Sauvignon or Pinot Gris, you get what they have. I'm Asian and I arrived very early around 7pm, and there was only one family eating outside and the rest of the tables are completely empty, there's literally no customer inside. I entered and because I speak perfect French, I greeted the female waitress in French and she responded to me in French. Then I asked for a table and the male waiter/the owner and he looked at me and told the female waiter in French that they are full. The female waiter then suddenly switched to English to me and said they're full. I looked around seeing no customer and they don't have an option to make a reservation on google or on their website so these empty places can't be?reserved, so they just don't want me there. Since I don't wanna waste my money on this racist restaurant I left without arguing with them. Do not recommend at all, by far the rudest restaurant I've visited in Cannes. C'est un restaurant très raciste avec une attitude froide et grossière. Je suis asiatique et je suis arrivé très tôt vers 19 heures, et il n'y avait qu'une seule famille qui mangeait à l'extérieur et le reste des tables est complètement vide, il n'y a littéralement aucun client à l'intérieur. Je suis entré et parce que je parle un français parfait, j'ai salué la serveuse en français et elle m'a répondu en français. Ensuite, j'ai demandé une table et le serveur / le propriétaire et il m'a regardé et a dit à la serveuse en français qu'ils étaient complets. La serveuse est alors soudainement passée à l'anglais et m'a dit qu'ils étaient pleins. J'ai regardé autour de moi en ne voyant aucun client et ils n'ont pas la possibilité de faire une réservation sur Google ou sur leur site Web, donc ces endroits vides ne peuvent pas être réservés, alors ils ne veulent tout simplement pas de moi là-bas. Comme je ne veux pas gaspiller mon argent dans ce restaurant raciste, je suis parti sans discuter avec eux. Ne recommande pas du tout, de loin le restaurant le plus grossier que j'ai visité à Cannes.
