Poissonnerie Forville — Local services in Grasse

Poissonnerie Forville is one of the most attractive seafood spots in Cannes. The quality of the food makes it popular with locals and also well known among tourists. Prices are very reasonable for the freshness you get. The place is a wholesaler to many local restaurants, yet it also serves selected dishes directly to the public. Very small place on the corner of the street, which gives it an authentic feel, there is a parking nearby as well.

The seafood is outstanding, some of the best I have ever tasted. Everything feels fresh and well prepared. The staff are friendly and helpful which adds to the welcoming atmosphere.

Service médiocre et impolitesse sans fin de tout le personnel !!! (ne parlons pas des mouches qui courent à l'intérieur de la caisse à huîtres et du serveur touchant tout sans gants, vraiment dégoûtant). Je voudrais décrire mon expérience avec les "messieurs" du personnel mais je pense qu'ils ne méritent pas d'autres mots, que je n'utiliserai que pour recommander un autre endroit qui se trouve de l'autre côté de la rue, ils méritent 10 étoiles pour toute l'attention dédiée que j'attends le client est surtout pour les huîtres!

Servizio scadente e maleducazione infinita da parte di tutto il personale!!!(non ne parliamo delle mosche che girano dentro la vetrina delle ostriche e il cameriere che tocca tutto senza guanti, davvero disgustoso). Mega toller Fischladen direkt neben dem lokalen Markt (Marché Forville). Grosse Auswahl, hervorragende Qualität und super Service, auch ein wenig Englisch wird gesprochen ohne dabei genervt zu sein. Etwas teurer als auf dem Markt, dafür aber bessere Qualität, mehr Auswahl, freundlicherer und besserer Service und nicht so schnell ausverkauft. Vor allem aber gibt es eine kleine Speise- und Weingetränkekarte. Für 10.- Euro erhält man 6 Fines de Claire Nr. 4 Austern und ein Gläschen Chardonnay - ein toller Snack. Natürlich gibt es auch grössere und teurere Austern auf der Karte, trotzdem VIEL billiger als die Restaurants in Le Croisette.

Fazit: Wer Meeresfrüchte mag sollte hier vor oder nach einem Marktbesuch auf jeden Fall vorbeischauen!
