A lovely Mediterranean restaurant in close walking distance to the local market and tue city cathedral - not too busy and we got a table right away when we walked in. The menu is on chalkboards both in French and English so you could always ask the staff for the English one (who by the way speaks really good English so communication is not an issue!) As a family of four, we ordered the baby octopus salad, sea-bass fillet, Zinc burger and this ravioli dauphine which the last is definitely the highlight of the meal - a local French specialty which is actually tiny ravioli filled with french Emmanuel cheese in very creamy asparagus sauce which is a delight without being too salty. The service is fast and attentive and this is certainly a good spot to stop by in the city!

Their pasta is really delicious! The cheese on top was a really nice touch, paired with very fresh basil. It’s not with a tremendous amount of salt but the flavor is just right. I’m very impressed with this item. The cheese platter is a nice bite to chew on but it’s a normal cheese platter, nothing to special if it makes sense. Think they could do something with that. It’s like a 4 star, it can’t go wrong because it’s cheese!

Great food, but the service needs to improve a bit. We had a variety of the dishes from the menu and the daily special entrecôte. All dishes were top notch. The seating inside feels a bit weird due to all the tiles on the walls, but like being inside a butcher’s… the service was alright, she tried her best but just wouldn’t try to speak English.

We were got a table at Le Zinc on a Monday night before they got too busy. It was a very hit or miss experience for us with the food. The starters were a major miss. The fried zucchini flowers were nothing but very greasy, thick batter and extremely disappointing and the burrata with tomato and pistou was oddly bland. We could see the pistou but couldn’t taste any basil. The table next to us was upset about the octopus salad because it was all arugula (rocket) and just 1 tiny baby octopus. I got the fish as a main with market vegetables and it was good, but nothing remarkable, given that I’ve had some truly delectable fish dishes in this area. My husband enjoyed his steak and it was tender. For the price, I would go...

Wonderful food, friendly staff, charming streetside Cafe. Note that they are popular for dinner and the staff is very small - one hostess/server and one chef - so be prepared to enjoy a very leisurely meal if you go around 8 pm. Definitely worth the wait!

We ordered a charcuterie plate for an appetizer and the cured hams and sausages were delicious! For dinner, we ordered a pasta with pesto and tons of fresh veggies perfectly al dente and flavorful, as well as a sesame crusted salmon with carrot-coconut puree - the puree was amazing! Creamy, light, and just sweet enough. The salmon was amazing - perfectly cooked and flavorful. We accompanied dinner with a light rosé, with flavors of apples and pear, but...
