Su and Shi Cannes — Restaurant in Grasse

Mixed experience. The beachfront view and comfy outdoor seating were great, and the sushi and poke bowls were fresh and visually appealing.

But for a place calling itself “luxury,” it misses the mark. The vibe felt more like a delivery hub than a dine-in restaurant, the delivery drivers constantly walking past your table outside make it hard to relax. Little things, like wooden chopsticks and minimal table service, didn’t help either.

The tofu in the "marinated tofu" poke bowl was just plain tofu with a bit of salt and spice, no marinating, no searing, no effort. At this price point, you'd expect more than just raw tofu and 5 pieces mango tossed in.

In short: good sushi, great setting outside, but overpriced for what it actually offers. More show...

yeah so there was a mouse. we were already eating and we saw a mouse run across the restaurant, right in front of the kitchen. When we brought this to the waiter’s attention he made no effort to even act like he cared and just brought us our check. not to mention our server hitting his vape at the host stand, interrupting me while i was ordering to take a call, and hearing our miso soup being heated up in a microwave in the kitchen. food was okay and service was not great, but seriously this place has mice, do...

I’ve seen that many sushi, restaurants around the world. They simply don’t have the flavours here that you would expect from a sushi restaurant. The miso soup was good, but it came out cold and we had to ask for it to be reheated the salmon sashimi was OK. The tuna sashimi was very bland. We also had some hand rolls, tuna, and salmon.
