I had a delightful dining experience at this wonderful Tunisian restaurant! The ambiance was inviting, and the aroma of traditional Tunisian spices filled the air, immediately whetting my appetite. The Fresh lemonade was a refreshing delight, perfectly balancing sweetness and tanginess.

The menu offered a fantastic array of traditional Tunisian dishes, and each one was a true culinary masterpiece. From the savory Brik filled with flavorful ingredients to 3aja mergez , every bite was a celebration of Tunisian gastronomy. The use of authentic spices and fresh ingredients truly elevated the flavors, leaving me with a memorable taste sensation.

The staff was friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout the meal. Their knowledge of the cuisine and their passion for sharing it with patrons added to the overall enjoyment of the experience.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic taste of Tunisia in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a seasoned fan of Tunisian cuisine or someone new to it, this place will undoubtedly leave you with a delightful and satisfying...

Our lunch at this branch of Yassine was such a disappointment. The service was abysmal. The waiter refused to take our orders despite us calling out to him several times, we finally requested another member of staff to send the guy to us so we could place our order. This took 30mins. And it seemed like the waiter was ignoring us on purpose because a few other tables were seated after us and they got their food even before our order was even taken. Finally our food arrived 1hr 10 mins after we sat down, by which time we were annoyed with the blatant selective service and rather hungry.

The food was another disappointment. We have eaten at another branch of Yassine before (near the train station) and LOVED it, and had ordered the same dishes here. It felt like a more watered down, touristy version of what we had originally tried.

Overall, an experience that left us feeling bad and dissatisfied.

P.S: we would still recommend their other branch, the dishes are way tastier and the service is...

I read great things about Chez Yassine and went there with high expectations, but the dissapointment has lingered like a fart in a steam room. After placing our order we waited at least 30 minutes, watching tables around us receive their orders. When we reminded them we existed it was obvious our order had been lost in the ether, which is understandable and forgivable given how many tables were there. What isn't forgivable is the food they brought us, which had obviously been scraped together as quickly as possible. It was lukewarm and completely bland, like something UNICEF might serve. Maybe it was a fluke and everyone else went away satisfied, but ours was an awful experience....

Wow.wow.wow. The food here was INCREDIBLE! It was my first time trying Tunisian food and I was so impressed. There was so much flavor-Even the lemonade was some of the best I ever tasted! So glad we happened upon this spot. Get there early, the restaurant fills up quickly. I might even suggest getting take away if you’re not a person that likes crowds and all of the hustle and bustle(there are cars and motorcycles passing through frequently). We ordered the citronade, ojja with sausage, salad mechouya, the hommos, and the breek egg! Perfect for two, with some leftovers for lunch :) You have to try this place if you’re in Marseille!!

If you’re after tasty food, you’re in the right place. I especially recommend trying their beef sausages — really flavorful! One small note though: if you’re not good with spicy food, make sure to let them know in advance, or be cautious. If you spot a little red ball of something on top of your dish or salad… don’t just mix it in without thinking 😄 It might be way too spicy for you! Also, their homemade lemonade isn’t your typical sweet-and-tangy kind — it has a slight bitterness, almost like lemon peel. So if I were you, I’d try a small size first to see if it matches your taste. It might not be for everyone.
