With a reputation as big as Bear Grills biceps, we succumbed to the only table we could get, Sunday 1pm. It's not a good sign that our host, while professional, only really smiled as we left. The meal had its hits. The Dorado was well cooked, and the rice too..the salad was good and the soup quite well made, though a little under seasoned and missing the lick of fennel that takes Provencale fish soup to the next level. It may have been burned off by the serving of the soup as close to 100c as ive ever experienced. Like tea, soup is optimally served at 65-75c. The linguine sauce was equally searing. The good flavour and equally good class offset by around 200g of dried linguine. Maybe they though we were midday bong babies in need of quantity. The lemon meringue dessert needs a major rethink. The lemon verbena? added gives it a character best suited for repelling insects. The texture seemed courtesy of corn flour and the meringue was even, but out of proportion and not torched prior to service (which helps loosen its grip of the fridge firmness). And nothing soft and creamy to break the starkness. Overall this place is ok. But it's fully priced, and needing of some work in the kitchen, and happier-to-be- there room team.

I wish all the best to the owner/s. That said this was really not the expected meal. Low quality food, bad presentatioj and service , low cleaness. High prices. Starters: - sea salad didn't have any taste - the Salad with figs and chevre would have been nice but the figs were cooked? and the bread was a pice of stone. Main dish - The pasta with clams was wayyy over cooked ( linguine were melting...) tastless and the souce tooo liquid . Dessert: - The cioccolate mousse ... well look the pictures. Location: It is not well mantained. Price: everthying is way overpriced. Short summary: unpleasent.

what a delightful experience — we went to have lunch here, and were welcomed into the little corner of the restaurant that had aircon (what a blessing) we ordered the stuffed mussels which came to our table still sizzling! the steak surprised me because while it looked sparse on that plate it was a tender piece of meat, the beans were delicious and the mash potatoes incredible — the seafood was delicious; the standout was the tuna with capers — with the octopus a close second place (it’s like a beef bourguignon with octopus) really friendly, prompt service and we didn’t wait long for our food to arrive

We booked a table for 7pm on the ‘patio’ which was basically outside the restaurant on the tiny path and arrived at 6.45 pm we were told they weren’t open and we couldn’t sit and wait, when we got back at 5 past 7 the restaurant was heaving with people eating food. The waiter was really rude and unfriendly and took 20 mins to take our order, even for a drink. The food was horrible, the steak not cooked as requested and had to be sent back, when we received it, the steak had been thrown back on the sauce! The linguine was ok but way too much pasta for clams and so hardly had any sustenance - extremely overpriced for what we had. Despite our wait we had eaten and gone in 35 mins - I would definitely NOT recommend eating here. There is no excuse for rudeness...
