I really regret having chosen this place for our last meal in Cassis. The waitress was not very friendly, neither was the other young waiter who barely would say a word. I would rate the restaurant at 3-stars if I hadn't suffered food poisoning and violent diarrhea two hours after the meal. The menu at 55euro is quite steep for what they actually serve in terms of quality. Much better restaurants elsewhere in town. It appears the presentation and appearance is what counts here. We ate tuna tartar which tasted strange. It's like it's flavour had been masked by some eastern spice that didn't match it at all. However, I hadn't eaten anything on the day (as I spent the day at the calanques) so I just ate it all to calm my hunger. I ordered paccheri as my main, which was served in a nice place, but to be honest I make better pasta with swordfish (it was 3-star taste)! Third was a Baba that seemed to be from the supermarket and with small fruits that were still frozen inside, again not too bad but not something you would expect at this price tag. However, the worst was yet to come. After feeling sick and being stuck in the toilet for 20 minutes (at least), I came back to the restaurant to explain what happened. The owners were not there anymore and just two people (in the picture). They simply laughed at me and started chatting between them saying that it's not possible this happened to me... After insisting I got the owners phone number who said it was not his restaurants fault and he could only say sorry for what had happened to me. Then I continued my journey back to the toilet... To be honest, the restaurant was full, I hope it was just a part of the tuna that was contaminated, or something "fell" into our plates... Food poisoning is something extremely serious and has literally ruined our last day of holiday. I have made an official complaint to https://signal.conso.gouv.fr/fr. I expect my money refunded from this restaurant.

Cannot recommend, unless you want to have restless night. If you are looking to lose weight while you eat, this is the place. Food will flow out of you afterwards at a volume that you cannot comprehend. You might think you are going to die. These are perhaps the nicest things that I can say. Is there a good way to say you will get food poisoning? You will be served dishes in a lukewarm manner that have some taste - not terrible - not good either? The risotto coming out within minutes of ordering should have been a clue that something was "off" This should be impossible, especially with supposedly cooked shrimp. But here we are, quickly being served gut wrenching flavor of future problems. Next was the fish, which upon reflection, should have concerned us when we we were told, "We do not have any whole fish, only filet" as we have learned that a filet does in fact come from a whole fish and somehow you probably should be able to serve a whole fish unless your food is frozen, not fresh as you pretend it to be. Now my wife and I ordered the same dishes and both got severe food poisoning. We were awake all night praying to the porcelain gods, top and bottom prayers were ignited from our souls. Only go here if you are on a strict Karen Carpenter esque diet program. I'm not sure all of the reviews on here. I included pictures as the meals look great, but will literally hurt you.

This place isn’t just a scam, because of meh overpriced food. Much worse, after the dinner at O Rev (I had the Risotto with shrimps) I woke up in the middle of the night with a pretty nasty food poisoning. Won’t go into details here. What made matters worse was the ugly reaction by the owners. I respectfully let the waiters know that I had food poisoning, who first denied it could be from their kitchen. Once they informed the owner, instead of showing any remorse or understanding, they started raising their voice asking how I dared bringing this BS up at peak hour and rushed off with a condescending hand wave, that felt more like middle finger. Thanks for nothing and don‘t fall for this nice facade. Spare your wallet and your gut. Old review before food poisoning: When choosing the place that we discovered in a side street, we thought we would avoid the overpriced tourist traps. Far from it, unfortunately. I would have been happy to place the the amount I paid (~60€ per person) if the food was good, as it was a special occasion. But apart from the atmosphere and the artistic way the food is served, it was an utter disappointment. I had the shrimp risotto, which came lukewarm, with the risotto being overcooked and the overall meal quite bland. Although the waiters were quite friendly and the atmosphere was super lovely, because of the food I cannot give the place more than 2 stars.
