This place is in a busy street of Cassis, a very turistic place. We had dinner after the beach. Overall I would say it's good but nothing mind blowing. We had two starters and two main, we started strong with the starters which were delicious, I ordered mozzarella with ham and asparagus, very lovely dish, a bit strong on the garlic but still, I don't mind it, and my partner ordered octopus salad, which was good as well. As main we ordered the fish of the day and beef cooked in a very typical way for them. I asked for a suggestion and the waitress suggested to get this one as it was a typical dish from the place however it's a stew, which is definitely too hot and too heavy for the summer season. Read moreExtremely overrated restaurant! We spent more than an hour waiting for our main course after having finished our starter. A table close to us saw new guests arrive, eat a main course, and leave while we waited endlessly with stale bread that was worse than any bread I thought I’d ever eat in France.
The starter was okay but the mains were dull, showing zero effort with regards to presentation, and almost completely tasteless.
Having had this very poor experience, I approached the head waitress about a reduction in price as compensation (mainly due to the waiting time). She said there was nothing she could do but offer a couple of limencello shots on the house. I courteously declined… If you’re looking for a nice evening, avoid this place and go to O Rev Cassis just around the corner instead, 50% higher price,...

The Gazpacho thick and rich. Went back a second time for the Entrecote & anchovy butter. How good! As for desserts, impossible to choose between the Crumble (served hot) and the Pavlova.
Our meals were made even more special by the great service from Melissa. Professional and engaging. Excellent English putting my tortured French to shame.
And a special word for the young Sommelier: keep wrestling with those pesky corks my friend, you're...
