McDonald's — Restaurant in Meaux

Avoid this McDonald’s at Paris Airport at all costs. This place is an embarrassment and should be shut down.

The store is filthy, the Wi-Fi doesn’t work, and the staff treat people with blatant disrespect—borderline racist. We ordered food and waited over 20 minutes with nothing coming out. When I went to the counter to ask, they just told me to “wait.” After another 5 minutes, I asked again, and they ignored me until I raised my voice. Only then did another staff member finally check, realized our order was completely forgotten, and told us to wait 2 more minutes. Even then, 10 minutes later, the food still hadn’t come.

When I tried to cancel, they flat-out refused to speak English and insisted only in French. Another French customer had to help translate, and that’s when the so-called “manager” appeared. Instead of apologizing, he arrogantly told me to just eat the food. When I insisted on a refund, he didn’t say a single word of apology—instead, he literally threw cash at the counter in front of me as if to say “get lost.”

This is the worst service I have ever experienced in any McDonald’s worldwide. The combination of dirty environment, zero customer service, arrogance, and discriminatory behavior makes this place absolutely disgusting.

AVOID. Absolutely shocking. Can only order via the automated machines, no signs to tell you this though. We selected the menu in English and it was still in French, so took us 10 minutes to order two meals and two drinks. Charged for extra sauces, and were also given the wrong ones. Their system is completely flawed, the machine gives you a table token with a number and the staff are meant to look for your number and give you the food. They, in fact, do not look for this but shout out your number (in French only) that is on your receipt, except the machine never gave us a receipt. I tried to tell two different staff members that was our order using our table number but they abruptly told me it wasn't. 30 minutes later, the exact order I said was ours arrived - freezing, overcooked, and without our milkshakes. I was then led to a separate counter where the drinks were made as I tried to communicate to yet another staff member via Google translate because not one staff member spoke English what drinks we ordered. Another 10 minutes for two drinks. Which only left my food to get even more cold. What we received I would definitely not class as milkshakes. €40 euros for the worst service I have ever experienced and two overcooked, rock hard McCrispy sandwiches.

From a distance, lost and hungry farm animals seem to roam out from the store, with expressions of sadness and a tinge of anger or rage. We should have known that this is where scary stories begin. We should have known ! Our forefathers would have been proud if we turned away from this McD. But our tummies ruled for the day, like how Napoleon walked into Waterloo, hopeful! We were hungry at 8+am, and we would like to conquer our hunger.

As we waited for our burgers , we imagined it being done michelin style since it was taking a while and we were in France.

We imagined the beef being minced on the spot when the order was keyed into the system through the self service counters. Perhaps the fries were done like the Belgium frites. But no, No Noooo. No amount of vulgarities could do justice to the dead potatoes or cows for this beef burger. These crew were guilty , sinners , serving possibly the worse McD food we've tasted.

Do not eat here, unless you like the slowest and coldest burgers and fries ever.
