I never met such rude people, unprofessional, unpolite, with no respect for clients.
On 29.07.2022, around 10:20 a.m. I was queuing to get coffees and all kind of goodies for my family. The queue was long, more than 20 people there. Despite the fact that they have 5-6 employees inside, the queue was moving very slow. I imagined that this is normal in airport and waited in the row. However, approaching the cashier I noticed that your employees shared a lot of jokes between them, laughing and telling stories, on the expense of customers waiting in the queue. I did not say anything until I reached to cashier desk. The lady from cashier (left in the attached picture) took 5 minutes to get 2 order from us because she constantly stopped and turn to share another chat story to her colleagues. When I told them to service the customers and talk less, they told me to shut up crossing their finger on their lips and ordered me to stay calm. I replied that this is unacceptable attitude and they stopped to take any additional order from me and ask me to pay for what I have ordered so far and leave. I refused to pay until I finalized all the order and ask to talk to a manager. From that moment they cancel my order, ignored me, asked the other customers for orders and refused to take any order from me or even talk to me. Just like this, from thin air, as a prove of power from their side.
This is unacceptable behavior even for smaller businesses, not to mention Starbucks Corporation. I travelled a lot all my life but I never, NEVER, met such rude and...
Read moreIt was the worst experience Iâve ever had at a Starbucks in my life. The staff were absolutely rude and discriminatory, explaining every issue with, âYOU ARE IN FRANCE.â We had a layover in Paris, and my boyfriend and I were NOT in France by choice. The cashier asked us for only one name and put it on both cups, as if that was totally fine. When I told her that I have a different name than my boyfriend, she wrote my name on top of the wrong one, with three (!!!) spelling mistakes. My name is Elena, which I donât think is that hard to spell.
The manager of the Starbucks tried to resolve the situation by explaining, again, that we were âIN FRANCEâ (?!?!) and that the spelling is different here. After 10 minutes of arguing and explaining that we were at an international airport, and that he should know English and how to spell names correctly in English, they finally made a new coffee. Then, they started talking to each other in French, saying a lot of rude things about us (which we understood, lol).
Never go to this Starbucks if you ARE NOT FRENCH!!! :)))
P.S. By the way, none of the workers had French names, yet they were trying to tell me how difficult my name is and that itâs only popular in Romania (and Iâm not even from Romania).
Also, it is a season of Pumpkin Spice latter - the most popular drink in Starbucks but guess what â they didnât have it. In the one of the biggest...
Read moreTrust me, you don't wanna visit here. Unless you want to get stiffed or something in the very last minute before leaving France.
My experience: the casher took my credit card, missed an order, and later said, "you didn't pay for that." Guess what? She's the one who double-checked my order. And they didn't give me the receipt with my full order. There only was the full amount in my receipt. I tried to explain the situation with the total amount, but all the staff members there didn't even listen to me.
On top of that, there was no one waiting behind. They were just talking to each other, ignoring me. Perhaps I should've noticed by this-it's Starbucks at night, and it was almost empty. Couldn't be more obvious, thinking back.
The only thing they had to do was just check my receipt and what I received. Or they could've just taken a glance at their own record in the cashing machine. Does this sound hard? I still can't believe what happened.
If you don't pay attention to your customers, especially when you are not busy and there is an issue, then why are you hired? Hope all bad employees get replaced by Ai or robots since humans have no advantage over them.
It's a shame that the staff members there don't have a body cam or something to protect the CUSTOMERS. It seems like they think people just come and go. But WE are humans.
Fyi : I'm Asian and hope this didn't play any role in...
