Liked it enormously but the waitress who was friendly at first took me a table near the toilet at the far end even though it was past 2.00 pm and several tables were empty! I had a great weekday lunch there alone a few weeks ago. I showed up at 1230 without a reservation and in broken French mixed with some English and gestures arranged to come back at 1330. Le Bistrot Delorme est une adresse qui dépasse toutes les attentes. Dès que l’on franchit la porte, on se sent comme chez soi : l’accueil est chaleureux avec une ambiance conviviale, on a presque l’impression d’être invité chez des amis passionnés de cuisine.

Les plats sont tout simplement exceptionnels. Chaque assiette raconte une histoire : des produits d’une fraîcheur irréprochable, des associations parfaitement maîtrisées, des cuissons millimétrées… On sent que chaque détail a été pensé avec amour et précision. Mention spéciale pour les sauces et assaisonnements, qui subliment chaque bouchée.

Le service est à la fois professionnel et décontracté, toujours avec le sourire et une vraie attention pour les clients. On nous conseille avec passion, on nous fait découvrir des vins qui s’accordent à merveille avec les plats, c’est un vrai voyage gustatif.

En résumé : le Bistrot Delorme, c’est un lieu où l’on vient pour bien manger… et où l’on revient pour l’expérience humaine. Nantes peut être fière d’avoir une telle adresse.
