Peter Mc Cool Graslin - Irish Pub — Restaurant in Nantes

The best worst name for an Irish bar ever created, probably some French person got drunk on Guinness and decided to open a bar having never been to Ireland, while locked (that's what Irish folks call drunk) shouted Peter McCool is a cool sounding name for my bar, I am certain some well informed helpful soul said sounds Scottish to me buddy, but he was locked and did give two shi*s. Thus Peter McCool's was born, that said it wasn't bad spot and they stuck the Rugby on outside, Guinness was passable, which in France is a small miracle, food also OK and staff were friendly, worth a visit if looking for a slice of home...

Je vous publie aujourd'hui un avis le plus détaillé possible sur mon expérience dans ce bar. J'hésitais à mettre une seule étoile mais heureusement, le serveur était très sympa ce qui me fait remonter la note. L'attente pour commander fut très longue alors qu'il n'y avait pas grand monde en terrasse, puis il y eut de nouveau une longue attente avant de recevoir nos verres (2 mojito sur lesquels je vais revenir après). Le serveur comme je l'ai dis précédemment était sympathique, on a pu rigoler un peu avec lui. Passons maintenant au vif du sujet : ce pourquoi nous sommes venus. Nous (ma copine et moi même) cherchions un endroit proposant des mojito, pour en boire un bien frais en terrasse. Le prix (7€50) était correct, ce qui me tend aussi a remonter ma note. Cependant, juste en le voyant arrivé, j'ai eu un doute quand à celui ci juste a cause de la couleur, qui me semblait légèrement ambré. Malheureusement, mon intuition était bonne : un mojito que je qualifierai plutôt de Virgin mojito a tel point il y avait peu de rhum dedans, de la menthe et du citron fades, la seule chose donnant un peu de goût étant le sucre. Je ne recommande donc pas vraiment ce bar, hormis pour le prix qui est correct en pleine...

Wow what a place I loved it, Isaak, Luna and the dude that I asked for Kombucha unbelievable service from start to finish. The Irish lot were out in full storm and this place loved it and accommodated in the best way they could. Drinks were flowing, sports was showing and music was pumping. Couldn't have asked for better pub to spend our last night in Nantes. All the best Robert (apologies...
