Avoid like the plague

We were really looking forward to a lovely meal in the marina after a day exploring beautiful Menton. On arrival, we wanted to order some starters as the kids were starving and then take a few minutes to order the main courses. We were told this was highly ‘inconvenient’ . Eventually and begrudgingly, the request was accommodated. After this, the waitress was rude and inattentive - forgetting our wine, and ignoring most of our requests (Parmesan for the kids, water for the table etc.). On being asked for the bill, the waitress went off to have a cigarette in front of us. We were charged 12 euros for a ‘kids’ menu’ though there was no menu offered to us - the ice cream that was meant to come with it was only mentioned after the bill was paid and we queried the extortionate 12 euros for a child’s portion of gnocchi and very watery tomato sauce. The menu is very limited. All the starters deep-fried and salads drenched in oil. So, sadly the terrible service wasn’t compensated for by good food.

The manager Thibault when we gave our feedback insulted us on our way out - delightful! To top it all off, there was a loud, public Zumba class in the marina - not the restaurant’s fault but didn’t help the awful awful experience. Lovely lovely town. Awful awful restaurant. I wish we had gone elsewhere
