The best part of the restaurant is the personnel. Everyone who works there was great. They were professional and nice. However, the whole approach to the restaurant was unexpected. I went with a group of 10 people and spent A LOT of money (we ordered when we were hungry!). The service was rather quick and they helped us with our small demands (napkins, water, clearing off parts of the table). However, we had to clear off our table, which we didn't understand going in. If I were with small group, it wouldn't be such an issue. But it's a regular restaurant with regular (medium-high) prices yet we have to bus our own dishes. As for the food, it was ok, the pho and bao being the best thing we order off the menu (like I said, we ordered A LOT). Sadly, I'm often disappointed by Asian food in France. It's often missing that "je ne sais quoi" authentic touch.
Again, I will emphasize that I liked the staff the most out of my...
Read moreWe were in Nice on holiday and having pastries across the street when I noticed two Asian women eating noodles outside a cute restaurant. I knew I needed to try it and so glad we did! The food was delicious and just what we wanted. We live in California and eat a lot of Vietnamese food. The chicken Pho was so good, the broth had a lot of spices and was more flavorful then I am used to. The noodles were well cooked and chewy. I also got the vermicelli beef bowl and the meat was well seasoned and tender. Such a refreshing dish with the raw vegetables and light sauce. The noodles were also a perfect consistency and the egg rolls were not greasy at all. Boa bun was yummy too. Outdoor seating was comfortable. The people working their were nice and efficient, they spoke English and French. Would totally recommend this place for a yummy...
Read moreAbsolutely delicious! My partner and I ordered a variety of things: Xiu Mai (pork), Crevettes Sautees (shrimp), and Bun Chay (tofu). The first one was my least favorite; I don't eat meat but wanted to try this dish anyways (mainly, because there is not much to choose with veg). And I didn't like it. Maybe it is not a big surprise :) The shrimp buns were very tasty. The vegetarian plate (bun chay) was ridiculously good, so many flavours, so fresh, and reasonably fatty. It was possibly the best dish I tried in Nice. I am a fan. ;)
We were sitting outside, which was very cozy. Highly recommend this place!
The only point I want to bring up to the restaurant is: please, come up with more vegetarian/vegan-friendly dishes. I am sure it would be highly...
