We came into this cafe and it looks small and beautiful we came for coffee and cake. Since the owner gave us the feeling that she prefers people who also eat food in the evening we decided for takeaway.

We took a croissant with pistachio creme, a kind of pistachio cake, a raspberry tarte and a cappucino. All of them were incredibly tasty except of the coffee. It was just lukewarm. Maybe the machine didnt went well, or to much cold milk was added. But I never saw a coffee lukewarm directly after coming out of the machine. If that problem will be fixed and will not happen in the future again, I guess this could be the best café in Nice.

The food was phenomenal! Got there when they opened at 7pm and were seating right away. Started with wine and water, followed by the Salade Niçoise. The salad was extra fresh and tasty! Dinner got me was the gnocchi with buffalo mozzarella, and baked to perfection. The Mrs had the area bass, which was also exceptional. We skipped dessert. The service was pleasant and untrusted. There was a party of three American men next to us, who were super critical of everything. The critic was totally unwarranted, in our opinion. Maybe they thought they were Gordon Ramsey? Wonderful family run tiny restaurant with excellent seafood and terrific friendly service. Walked in to be sat at the last table available but the wait person (owner?) quickly made us feel welcome. Limited, by the glass, wine list but seemed like well selected wine list. We opted for a delicious glass of prosecco. Our small yet very tasty salads were exceptionally good, the olive oil (?). The linguine with clams was, by far, the very best I’ve ever had! My partner had the spaghetti with seafood and he said it was also excellent. Prices are pretty much what you’ll find around town for similar offerings yet, rest assured, the food here...
