The Small Cave — Restaurant in Nice

An overrated place in my view. This was recommended to us and I can’t see why. I had the Parisienne which was really not that flavourful: tomato sauce, mushrooms and onions (also egg but didn’t see nor taste that). It tasted as if it was missing cheese. Even the pat of butter stop didn’t make it great. My husband had the complete with cheese and that was better… but similar to the cheese omelette he makes at home. I’m taking off a full three stars for NOT accepting cards. Utterly inexcusable to have cash only in 2022 and especially postpandemic. Prices are cheap but definitely won’t return or recommend.
