HORRIBLE, I normally never leave a bad review but this place was a such a disrespect. We ordered our food 20mins passed, 30mins passed, 40mins passed , an hour passed and we asked how much longer for the food to be ready? The main waiter is shocked and mentioned that the kitchen is closed. We mentioned we ordered food a while ago to his colleage, his colleague denied it on our faces in French thinking we couldn’t understand. We told him yes we ordered to you 2 dishes and then he “remembered”
They started arguing between each others, main waiter sincerely apologizing saying there is nothing they can do he will see if something is possible, they leave for another 5mins come back and the Guy who forgot said well they can’t do anything I forgot and kitchen is closed.
What bothers me is the lack of accountability and disrepect also thinking we couldn’t understand what he was saying.
If you are enjoying Paris for a few days, believe me there are far better places with amazing food...
Read moreGreat wine bar with regional specialties and wine pairings, both suggested on the menu and offered, if you ask, by your waiter. Informal atmosphere with wood panelling and banquette-style seating. Try the cochonaille if you're in the mood for a cold pork sampler, or the duck variation on the theme. Foie gras offerings include a fetucinni with jambon campagne and foie gras... rich to the last slurp. This visitor-friendly place has several locations around Paris, notably at St. Michel right on the Sienne, this one at Marché St. Honoré, and another at La Madelaine, near Maxim's. The one I least care for is the first, at St. Michel. The rest are all worth a visit, be it for a quick glass of wine, a modest repas at.lunch, or drinks and dinner with friends. Bwing from Panama where we have a canal with some pretty major locks, I like the name too (l'ecluse...
Read moreThere was a young (early 20's) brunette waitress there tonight that was so rude that I had to start asking the restaurant's new waitress, that said she started there 2-weeks ago, to help me with: bottled water, condiments, the food, the check, etc. If this woman does not actually work, she should no longer work there. Simply because I asked the second waitress after 20 minutes of receiving my steak tartar, if she could help me with mayonnaise for the potatoes, the angry young waitress brought me Worcester sauce, some nut oil, tabasco sauce, vinegar, and everything EXCEPT for the mayo. Then I requested the check, again, I had to ask the 2nd waitress after 45 minutes if I could for the love of god have the check. We didn't get dessert or coffee because of...
