Amorino Ice Cream – Paris 15ème: Artisanal Quality with a Signature Touch

Amorino has become a well-known name in Paris and beyond, celebrated for its artisanal gelato, elegant presentation, and consistent quality across locations. As a returning visitor, I make it a point to stop by the Amorino in the 15th arrondissement whenever I’m in town, it’s one of those rare chains where the product actually lives up to its reputation.

Their focus on high-quality ingredients and a refined selection of classic and seasonal flavors is what sets them apart. Whether you're a fan of rich chocolates, fresh fruit sorbets, or unique combinations like passionfruit-raspberry or pistachio from Bronte, each scoop delivers intense, true-to-flavor notes. One of the things I appreciate most is that you can genuinely taste the difference between each variety, there’s nothing artificial or overly sweet.

I personally gravitate toward their fruit sorbets, which are refreshingly flavorful and light. I usually opt for a cone (which is crisp and well-made), and one of Amorino’s trademarks is how they shape the gelato into a rose if you order two or more scoops, a beautiful and Instagram-worthy touch they’ve mastered across all locations.

Most Amorino boutiques, including this one, tend to be small in size, with limited or no seating. It’s more of a grab-and-go experience, ideal for a walk through Paris or a sweet break on a sunny bench. While the prices aren’t low, they’re reasonable for the quality: you’re paying for real ingredients and artisanal care, not factory-made ice cream.

Now, onto one downside that has remained consistent over the years: no sugar-free or low-glycemic options. As someone who watches their blood sugar, I’ve had to cut back on my visits despite being a loyal fan. It’s a real shame, especially considering how many people today whether diabetic or simply health-conscious would love to enjoy Amorino’s exceptional flavors in a more blood-sugar-friendly format. Every time I ask, the answer is the same: “Nothing sugar-free.” It’s a missed opportunity in my opinion.

That said, service is always courteous and professional, and the quality remains impeccable. The staff know the product well and handle high-traffic periods with efficiency and friendliness.

All in all, Amorino Paris 15ème continues to deliver what it promises: top-tier gelato, crafted with care, and presented with charm. If they ever decide to expand into low-sugar or sugar-free offerings, they’d truly be unbeatable. Until then, it remains a favorite indulgence, just not as frequent as I’d like.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for everything but one star off personally for the lack of low-sugar options — still highly...

Visited about half an hour ago. The young lady (unfortunately I didn’t see her name) working there wasn’t polite at all. I bought 2 cups of ice cream. I asked the same flavors for both cups, just for the second cup I asked (politely) to put the pistachio flavor first. The girl looked at me as I said something weird and told that “it’s the same. Anyway the flavors are put side by side and not from bottom to top.” First, I don’t think I asked something impossible, second, I didn’t ask if it’s the same or not. I think I have a right as a client to ask what I asked for. Finally she did it as I asked, but she almost threw the cup on the counter. And then left without telling a word. Even a simple “goodbye”. I don’t think that this behavior is permissible. I wasn’t rude, didn’t make nothing that could explain her reaction. After that visit I have absolutely no desire to visit any of Amorino stores. Because it’s actually not the first time I’m treated like this by Amorino sellers. But this girl was the rudest one. I hope managers will check...

If you're in Paris and craving something truly indulgent, look no further. I had the pleasure of visiting this charming dessert haven, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The combination of warm, freshly made waffles topped with a generous amount of rich chocolate sauce, a dollop of fluffy whipped cream, and a perfect pistachio macaroon was simply heavenly. For anyone with a sweet tooth or looking to try something unique in Paris, I highly recommend. It’s the perfect spot for an unforgettable dessert that will leave you craving for more.

Hazelnut and pistachio were amazing. Lime tasted very fresh. The amarino chocolate was really dark, so be prepared if that’s what you want. You can ask for samples. Fairly pricy. Word of caution: the large size is very large and does not fit the cone by any stretch of the imagination. The cones are not that great so I recommend the ice cream cups. I think the macarons are way overpriced, especially compared to the delicious ice cream. Were I to do it again: cup with hazelnut and pistachio; back door to heaven.

The gelato was great, as was the macaron on top. Supposedly you get as many scoops as you'd like, and the price is still the same, I didn't test this but I did get 3 flavors. I ordered a cup of tiramisu, dark chocolate, and cafe, as well as a tiramisu macaron. It was delicious. My wife had the same 3 flavors on a waffle cone, it was easily the best cone we've tried. Also, the macaron was perfect, crunchy on the outside while being light and chewy on the inside.
