T'U, a supposed Thai restaurant, is way too expensive given the quantity and quality of the dishes. We ordered two Vegetable Pad Thai (€15 each), 1 vegetable spring roll (€10), and APPARENTLY 2 waters (€16 total). We were not even informed of the extremely high charges for water, and it was just a normal one bottle of water. I feel extremely cheated by the restaurant and waiters. It is just rude to charge more for water than any of the dishes we ordered. Now, moving onto the dishes themselves, which were average or below average Thai food. The vegetable pad thai contained noodles that were slightly overcooked and clumpy. It is not the worst Pad Thai, but definitely NOT close to good. The dish had insufficient flavor; however, the included vegetables were cooked well. Also, the quantity was quite small. The vegetable spring rolls included 4 small pieces (of the crispy variety) served with lettuce and a sweet sauce. The filling was reasonable, but lacked some authentic Thai flavor, the outside were sufficiently crisp and fortunately not oily. They were fine, but definitely NOT worth €2.5 for each spring roll. Please not that this place is NOT vegetarian friendly. The only main entree available is Pad Thai. I think there were 2 other vegetarian salads available. All other vegetarian options are not main Thai entrees, such as spring rolls and sides of vegetables. If everything above wasn't bad enough, I noticed that you could order dishes called "(meat) Dim Sum." I will point out the two greatest flaws in this. Firstly, dim sum is a STYLE of Chinese cooking in which small bite-size portions of food are served in small plates or in steam baskets. Dim sum is NOT a dish, so I don't even know what T'U is offering here. Secondly, dim sum is traditionally Chinese, not Thai. Thai food has a variety of wonderful things to offer and a Thai menu should not need "dim sum." Thus, I question if this place truly even understands Thai cuisine, let alone the problems with the outrageous prices for the quality. I have found many other restaurants that serve higher quality food, cheaper prices, and cheaper water. Don't waste your time or money here. This place just attempts to look fancy with its prices and decor, but lacks the soul, kindness and flavor that comes with Thai food. Take your friends, business partner, family, date, etc. to somewhere else better, NOT to T'U.

We have a great dinner here. The restaurant give you a feeling of lounge style. I recommend salade de bœuf and padthai for main course. As for dessert, mango with sticky rice and Thai crepe is delicious. Although, the chef is thai but don’t expect it to be authentic unless you ask, otherwise, the dishes are more of fusion style. For the location and the restaurant’s vibe, it’s worth the price.

Probably the best Thai curry (chicken) since living in Asia. Service is nice. Waiter is typical French snarky-hospitality which I personally love. View was lacking since open parking right in front. Could have been a nice view over the Siene bit instead, a great view of a cargo van, but at least it was a French Renault! :) no van, 5-star all the way down

If I could give zero stars I would, absolutely disgusting behavior from who I believe is the manager or owner (frankly I hope not because that is absolutely not how the manager/owner of a restaurant should act). My friend had an issue and really needed the bathroom and this was the closest one to us plus, I have dined here a handful of times and live in the area so I am familiar with the restaurant. I go down to show her the bathroom and as I walk back up I am bombarded by this man attacking me asking if I used the bathroom. I calmly tell him my friend really needed it but not to worry and that she would pay the two euro to use it once she had come back up (I had known going in there that she would have to pay for the bathroom as I have lived in Paris for some time now and this is typical). He proceeds to bark at me asking where I’m from and ask why I am uneducated and if they educate people there (I suspect he asked this due to the fact I am part asian so he automatically assumed I am not from France and that if I had spoken to him in French he would have not asked this question, his racist remark about me being from somewhere where they don’t “educate us” is quite ironic and laughable considering it is an asian restaurant) . He continues to yell that I am uneducated and that I should have asked to use the bathroom (which I understand but I have been here a handful of times so I knew where it was and no one was at the front when we walked in plus, I did not even use the bathroom myself) but regardless of this, the tone and manner in which he was speaking to me with was absolutely disgusting to say the least. I will no longer be dining here and will be sure to tell my colleagues and friends to avoid it aswell as this behavior over such a small issue coming from who I assume is the manager or owner of the restaurant is...

We were really excited when we first got here as we were greeted with chicken spring rolls and were initially impressed with the hospitality.

We ordered the Pad Thai which was a smaller portion size than we expected for the price point. It was tasty but not good value for money. We asked for an order of the spring-rolls because they were delicious, and even though they're not on the menu, the server said that she would honor the same price point as the other spring rolls on the menu. Throughout the dining experience the server kept trying to upsell us (when we asked for water, she asked we wanted bottled or sparkling, I had to specifically ask for tap; when we asked for a glass of wine she asked us if we wanted a bottle and had to clarify that we asked for a glass).

When the bill came, we noticed the price for the spring rolls was higher than promised. When I asked why she did not honor the price she mentioned, she said it's because we got an extra spring roll so that's why.

We were not impressed as she did not stay true to her word and was not open to making any adjustments based her inconsistency. Unprofessional. Not wanted to create a scene, we paid the bill in...
