I’ve been here twice with my wife and both times really enjoyed the friendly multilingual service in particular the freshly made dumplings. Being from Beijing originally I would consider my humble opinion on traditional Chinese dumplings to be reliable on quality and I can confirm the pork and chive or pork and cabbage are spot on. Good flavour and seasoning mean no need to over sauce with soy (or you can authentically stick to vinegar only). The dumpling skins are both well made, tight after boiling and retain bite showcasing the skill of both the maker and cook. Personally I rate this better than some of the other popularly named dumpling joints (which either have small or bland dumplings). We get the 20 dumpling plate! De loin mon restaurant chinois favori à Paris, j'adore y aller. La nourriture est excellente, pleine de saveurs, les plats sont variés, le personnel très sympathique et les prix sont accessibles (ils varient entre 6 et 14 euros par plat, à quelques exceptions).

Cela vous permet de venir à plusieurs et de commander plusieurs plats à partager (c'est bien mieux que de commander un plat chacun, d'ailleurs c'est pour ça que les viandes et les accompagnements sont séparés). Divisez la note ensuite et vous aurez un festin pour un prix individuel correct (ici 22 euros/pers pour 3 pers et 5 plats, on aurait pu être 4 pour la même quantité).

Je recommande personnellement le porc Hong Shao (une merveille ultra savoureuse), les raviolis grillés au boeuf et céleri ou végétariens (vous aurez peut-être la chance de voir le/la chef(fe) les faire devant vous), la soupe oeuf/tomate, les aubergines yuxiang et les brocolis à l'ail mais j'ai aimé de nombreux autres plats.

Il y a pas mal d'options végétariennes et il me semble véganes (vérifiez si les plats de légumes ont de la sauce d'huîtres au cas où) et de quoi manger épicé ou non épicé.

Le seul point négatif c'est que la salle est relativement petite et devient facilement bruyante une...

A very nice spot that I will come back to. Yes, they have the typical 'French-chinese' dishes but they also have many authentic dishes that taste correct.
