STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Absolutely atrocious, if I could give it 0 stars I would. My husband and I were walking back to our hotel at night and decided we wanted to have some drinks before heading back. Unfortunately we stumbled upon this place, thinking that with a name like “beer station” it would have good drinks. Plus it was super close to the hotel. Well to start off we were barely acknowledged when we approached the bar, then the older woman gestured with her hand for us to sit anywhere. We sat down and 5 minutes later we got startled by these 2 menus flying (and no I’m not exaggerating, she literally threw them at our table) . Right then and there we had the feeling that we should just get up and walk away, but figured to give them the benefit of the doubt. A few minutes later the woman comes back, mind you she still hasn’t even said a word to us, and we simply asked if she has rose by the glass because the menu only lists it by the bottle. She said “yes glass, “ grabbed both our menus out of our hands and walked away. Brings back 2 glasses of rose (that we did not actually order) with an ice cube in each glass, a cup of nuts and the bill. ... my husband actually wanted a beer but did not get a chance to order it. I have never seen wine served with an ice cube without someone specifically asking for it. Not to mention that the place is extremely overpriced, 2 glasses of below average rose was 20€, in any other place you can get a great glass of rose for about 5-8€ (in our area at least) This is by far the most disgusting treatment we have ever received , anywhere! Do yourselves a favor and stay away from this place, because it will absolutely...
Read moreI would have given this pub a 5 star.. but tonight my last night in paris on 05/03/25-06/03/35.. i have been victimed of inappropriate behaviour my a member of the male staff.. i had been visiting there for the past 2-3 nights prior to that and all the staffs were nice and respectful.. mais on this particular night of the 6th march at around 00.50 there was a male staff who once i came in approached me bullishly and said to me what i wanted.. i said can i come in for a drink.. but he said they are closing rudely while there closing time on paper is 2am and for the past nights they been serving drinks around half 1 am.. there were still clients inside and the lady who was there aswell the previous nights did not stand up against her colleague's inapproriate behavioir... i do not want to alledge that ive been faced with racisim from this male staff but it felt that way to me as on previous nights i had never been treated like this by other staffs.. this is a point of reflection towards the owner if they want to employ someone like that..
Owner replied: very poor reflection from the owner.. "..not in a condition to be served.." on what basis? I went there for the previous nights in the same condition.. you allow your staff to discriminate......
Read moreThis restaurant was a block away from our hotel. We sat outside the first time (which was also our first night in Paris) and we could see the Arc from our table. The staff spoke English and our waitress was so friendly. Food was good (fam had burgers and pasta) as well as our drinks. We had a party of six, with two older kids, and we were treated exceptionally. We decided to go back on our last night which also happened to the be the hubs bday. We sat inside this time which was great (and dry!). Our waiter was again wonderful and also spoke English. The owner came over and gave the adults a free shot in honor of my husband's bday! I would definitely recommend this restaurant for the casual food, beautiful location (on the corner down the street from the arc) and absolutely...
