Brasserie l'Escale — Restaurant in Paris

While vacationing in Paris, I stopped by on a whim after doing a load of laundry at a nearby Laverie. The happy hour menu drew me in but the tasty burgers will bring me back. I don’t speak French but the bartender (or perhaps the owner) was super nice and helped me order. This place had the best burgers I’ve eaten in Europe, hands down (and even ranks higher than a few back at home in the States). I will definitely be back again later in the week to try their $14 euro plate of the day....

J’ai mangé avec 3 collègues. Nous sommes unanimes c’est très bof. On a pris tous les 4 des hamburgers. Pas de sauce, une tranche de fromage à peine fondue, un micro morceau de tomate avec de la salade à côté. Niveau frites, elles étaient bonnes et maison mais il y en manquait franchement dans l’assiette. Pour le dessert, on a pris 4 mousses au chocolat. Bonne mais niveau quantité j’ai eu l’impression qu’on m’a pris pour un pigeon. Mais 3 collègues ont une coupe normale quantité correct. Et pour moi un petit verre où il n’y avait que la moitié. Prix 5€. Normal même si le contenant est différent, le contenu est identique. Là clairement il n’y avait pas. C’était sûrement la fin de la préparation et ne pouvait pas remplir une coupe normale.il y avait plus de chantilly que de mousse… Je vais retenter pour voir si c’est un cas isolé mais pour l’instant j’ai trouvé ça élevé pour la qualité...

Worst experience ever with delivery from a restaurant. I ordered thru just eat, and they kept changing the delivery time and finally after two hours and fifteen minutes, they cancelled the order with no explanation. Completely...
