The worst Vietnamese restaurant I’ve ever been in Paris. Food: the dish looks much different from the photo on menu. I ordered Com Ga Hoi An. Rice was quite dry and lack of chicken fat as usual. Chicken meat was mixed with onion, but onion occupied the majority. The most terrible thing is Banh Uot. It’s obvious package rice leaves which was then steamed. I even tasted the bizarre smell of packed foods. It’s totally different from homemade Banh Uot which is made by steaming freshly liquid starch. Service: it’s good. No comment Atmosphere: Clothes would be soaked by full of frying smell bcz of no ventilation inside.

We went there at 7:30 Pm in the evening but it was completely empty. We were quite unsure but decided to stay based on the 4.6 Google map review. We ordered two sandwiches with beef and pork fillings with traditional baguette and normal baguette. (Traditional has a more chewy crust which I liked). We also ordered their flagship sugar cane drink. The baguettes where cold and the crust wasn’t crispy. The cane sugar drink was quite nice. But overall I am not sure how the place had 4.6 reviews when other Vietnamese restaurants were packed at the same time in similar area.

Too chaotic. One server handling orders for dine-in and takeaway, serving food/drinks, cleaning and money. The server was inattentive and inefficient. It took us a long time to order because a large group came in for takeaway orders and the server kept blocking the machine. Then our food sat on the counter for a while because she didn't look out for it, nor did the cooks indicate that the order was ready. Then paying took a long time also. Food was ok, nothing great but my standards are high with my heritage. Seemed on the expensive side a banh mi and beer.

Cold food, cold service.

I asked for a sandwich to takeaway. The waiter told me to wait outside even when there were no other customers in the room. The sandwich he handed me was cold in and out and did not came with a bag. I asked for one and the waiter handed me a bag smaller than the sandwich without any expression. At this point I just wanna get away from there, so I left with the sorry little bag.

I did noticed that on Google map it was not the opening hour and specifically checked before ordering whether the restaurant was open. But maybe it is related.

I am a bit upset they are this way now, because last time it was definitely not...
