The food was ok here, but definitely overpriced because of the location. I would say starters and desserts were of an average standard but then the steak was very good. I have marked down service and atmosphere (and food) because there were flies everywhere, which kept landing in food and drinks, and were all over the walls. It was not a nice experience and we rushed out of there. When we mentioned the issue to the waiter he was rude, and shouted, explaining there was nothing he could do about it. Overall this was our most expensive (and least enjoyable) meal in Paris. I would recommend staying and eating east of the city near Canal St Martin where there are loads of independent good quality restaurants. Since posting this review, Caius have responded to say that the restaurant has had full renovation and opened back up only a couple of weeks ago. I can confirm that my visit was on Monday 12th August which would have been after those renovations. My recommendation would be to have a professional clean of the restaurant and get some citronella candles for the tables.

We got into this place by complete chance, as walk-ins, sat at the only table left for the evening. And what a surprise it was — the quality of the food and drinks is ridiculously high. The tarama, terrine and octopus are fantastic starters, the cod-based main is what I can only describe as perfectly balanced, and their panna cotta is the best I've ever had. A new Paris favourite.

What a gem! Brought a group of 10 colleagues for a casual dinner, and absolutely everyone loved it completely cleaning out their plates. All the tastes are exactly right, and the wine menu is extensive and decently priced. Also very good value for money on the food given that it's a 3 course dinner with a fixed price.

Average. A bit pretentious place. The starters (octopus salad and foie gras) were average to bad for the price they charge (16euros each). The main dish (sirloin) was good. Desserts were average at best. Overall, nothing special, no fusion, no creativity, just average food. I wouldn’t recommend and I wouldn’t return.

Also, the service was not good. I dropped a knife and asked for a new one. The waiter never came back with a new one. I had to share my partner’s knife. We had to ask for the water multiple times. Each time the waiter would ask “still, sparkling or tap”. We ordered tap. Finally, it arrived and then it was...

You're never sure whether to trust TripAdvisor ratings but the reviews on this one sounded genuine and we were delighted we came. A family group of teens and adults, the food was just lovely. Inventive and tasty with a small but interesting menu, burger am option! Good value at €45 for three cousrs. The ham was absolutely delicious. It was all great. Friendly service and happy chef in the kitchen which is on view. No shouting... all looked very under control despite lots of different dishes...
