We were so looking forward to this place as we’d heard of their cinnamon rolls, and we had a hankering.
When we got there, no cinnamon rolls. No biggie. We knew that French establishments often run out. We didn’t blame them.
I then ordered an egg breakfast and a cappuccino to go. They delivered the cappuccino straight up, asked me to wait outside for the sandwich.
So I went outside and waited.
And waited. And waited.
After at least ten minutes, but probably closer to 20, the server informed me there was a problem with my order, that it’d be another ten minutes.
What problem could there possibly have been with an egg sandwich? Why another ten for such an order?
No idea.
Thankfully, the server offered me another drink. Anything I wanted (at least that’s what I thought she’d said).
So I requested one of the specials, some caramel drink.
“Oo, not that,” she shut me down. Another cappuccino or chai latte.
I ordered a chai. She offered a cookie as well. Cool. I’m always down for cookies.
Twenty minutes later, I’m told another five minutes.
Finally, after what had probably been a total of a half hour, the server brings me my order.
No cookie.
Thanks to the chai, which was honestly probably the best I’ve ever had, I’m not giving these guys one star. But with such terrible service, plus I saw other people who’d arrived later get their orders before mine, I can’t recommend this place.

My wife and I have been back 3 times within a week and each time it has been the same amazing experience.
The staff are warm and inviting…very amazing energy from the owners and chefs. Everyone is happy to be there and you can feel it.
The food is superb…the avocado, egg breakfast sandwich is the best in town.
The eggs benedict with the lemon/hollandaise sauce is out of this world…I recommend getting it with avocado too!
Their oat milk flat white gives Melbourne Australia a run for their money too 😉☕️.
The choices of treats and pastries are amazing as they’re baked fresh daily with locally sourced ingredients…highly recommend the cinnamon roll as it’s so light and doesn’t feel overly sweetened.
As I type this I can’t wait to go back for a 4th time while here in Paris for a week…feeling like locals...
Read moreThe restaurant, while way smaller than what pictures online may lead you to believe, remains of the better places I have visited in the last couple of months. The staff is superbly friendly, as I am currently reminiscing about the very funny, yet insightful conversations I have had with our waitress. The place is a bit tight, but it does add up to its charm as the experience feels all the more personal in my opinion. Furthermore, I was very fond of the novel items that its menu had proposed. I was intrigued by the prospect of a purple, beet-flavoured marshmallow floating and slowly seeping into my hot chocolate. I must admit, however, that the end result was pretty tasty and exciting. The egg Benedict salmon croissant was a marvel to behold and something that I had never conceived to be served at such a location. It was crispy, flaky, and the egg’s runny disposition complemented the salmon...
