It was pouring rain and I ducked into this place for a quick drink and something to eat, and ended up writing here for five hours over many drinks. Quit smoking years ago but bummed a cigarette from the server and she didn’t take the euro I tried to give. Sometimes you forget that service, a step behind in pace what it might be in America but top notch in patience and warmth, does not need to be aimed at getting you quickly out the door. There are many tourist traps in Paris and expensive historical cafes (if you recognize you are paying for historical value, and not food, that is fine). Until early springtime, I had wonderful experience and excellent food. The last two times I have order via delivery. Each time the order was incorrect, and today it was not only incorrect but stale.

The quinoa salad did not have the ingredients listed on the delivery site. Lettuce was wilted.

The fish portion of the fish and chips is smaller than before. Chips were not fresh. I realize it was a 30 minute delivery, however I believe the could have been fresher.

These experiences are quite diferent from before when it was always superb :) I hope things get...
