Café du Marais — Restaurant in Paris

An extremely cute café right in the heart of the Marais district. We had brunch here and ordered waffles with avocado, sunny-side-up egg, salmon, and spinach, as well as a ham and cheese sandwich. The portions are very generous – we couldn’t finish everything – and the food was very good.

The coffee isn’t specialty level, but it’s acceptable considering the kind of coffee that’s typically served in Paris. The place itself is cozy, with a touch of Selby chic. I sat inside on a rainy day and it was perfect. A very useful find in Paris – I’ll definitely come back next time I...
