Café Eugène — Restaurant in Paris

I was very disappointed by my visit to this bar. The service is far from satisfactory and the staff show a lack of professionalism and respect. Whether you're a resident of the 15th arrondissement or a tourist, I'd advise you to look for somewhere else. There are bars where the service is much more humane, and which deserve your attention.

Obviously, I'm not the only one who thinks so, as other similar reviews attest. The day the boss becomes aware of these problems, he'll surely be able to improve the customer experience, instead of focusing solely on optimizing seating.

An incident that illustrates this lack of consideration: my friend politely asked a person next to us for a chair so he could get closer. A delivery man, wearing glasses, passed by without a word, removed the chair and put it back in its place. When I explained to him that his gesture was inappropriate and that he should have communicated it to us first, he replied that he "didn't have only that to do".

As a conclusion, I wouldn't recommend this bar if you're looking for a pleasant atmosphere and respectful service.

J'ai été très déçue par ma visite dans ce bar. Le service est loin d'être satisfaisant et le personnel fait preuve d'un manque de professionnalisme et de respect. Que vous soyez résident du 15ème ou simplement de passage, je vous conseille de chercher un autre endroit. Il existe des bars où le service est bien plus humain et qui méritent votre attention.

Il est évident que je ne suis pas la seule à penser cela, comme en témoignent d'autres avis similaires. Le jour où le patron prendra conscience de ces problèmes, il pourra sûrement améliorer l'expérience client, au lieu de se concentrer uniquement sur l'optimisation des places.

Un incident qui illustre ce manque de considération : mon ami a demandé poliment une chaise à une personne à côté de nous pour se rapprocher. Un livreur, portant des lunettes, est passé sans un mot, a retiré la chaise et l'a remise à sa place. Quand je lui ai expliqué que son geste était inapproprié et qu'il aurait dû nous le communiquer d'abord, il a répondu qu'il n’avait "pas que ça à faire".

En résumé, je ne recommande pas ce bar si vous cherchez une ambiance agréable et un service...

This place is kind of touristy. It’s just the area. But the local still do come here. The staff is good they all know some level of English and with my little knowledge of French we had no problems ordering.

The atmosphere was good. It had a weird French cafe look and feel. Unlike any other cafe I went to in the time I was in Paris.

The food was good but a little on the pricey side for what it was. I don’t think this was the case just for this place but rather the whole area. Like they all priced higher due to the conference center close by.

Bottom like if you are in the area and are looking for a cute cafe to try this place will suit...

The service was a disaster none of the waiters are capable to do the basics of their jobs. Like giving you the menus that takes more than 15 min . Asking for drink also 20min even putting a bottle of water was awkward. When the orders were taken the waiter comes back after 30min to ask us again what was the order. Obviously all the time they didn’t make any effort to correct the situation.

Too bad because the food was good but with a service like that you don’t want to come back for sure.

Again a good management change everything. So I will not recommend this...
