Café Kitsuné Tuileries — Restaurant in Paris

I love cafe Kitsune! For many years I have been a regular at the the Palais royal shop in Paris and the Aoyamas in Tokyo. This is the first time I visit the Tuileries shop and I the service was incredible! I ordered three drinks from the super friendly lady at the cashier with a big smile on her face and then as I was waiting for the drinks I remembered I didn’t specify oat milk with my flat white so I mentioned it casually however noticed that the barista had already started preparing my coffee so I said it’s also fine with regular milk but the nice lady insisted on changing it for me, she said if you want oat milk you will get oat milk :) I loved the gesture! Being a parisian, I was a regular client of all the Kitsuné in Paris but I had a very bad experience in the one of Rivoli. I was with a friend showing some pictures on my laptop as my phone is very old and doesnt allows me to show pictures well. Two persons from the stuff came to say that laptops are not allowed, but tablets and smartphones yes??? Whats the point? it is ridiculous. So two friends can stay 2 hours talking and sharing images with their phones but not showing images with a small laptop? this is the policy of Kitsuné? Café Kitsuné était une adresse que j’avais dans ma liste à visiter depuis un moment. Le coffee shop est petit, et ce jour-là (1er mai), il y avait une grosse file d’attente. Tous les clients repartaient avec un iced matcha latte littéralement toutes les tables en avaient. J’ai hésité à en prendre un aussi, mais j’ai finalement suggéré à mon amie (qui aime le matcha mais pas le yuzu) de le tester, pendant que je prenais le iced yuzu & honey. Et franchement, aucun regret : j’ai adoré mon iced yuzu & honey. J’avais vu la barista préparer une base avec du miel, ça m’a tout de suite donné envie. Le yuzu était super parfumé, bien équilibré par le miel, et ultra rafraîchissant parfait pour une journée à 27°C. Mon amie, en revanche, a été déçue par son iced matcha latte. Elle le prend toujours avec du lait de vache, mais là, le lait prenait complètement le dessus sur le matcha. Je ne suis pas sûre qu’on nous ait proposé des alternatives végétales, même si je crois en avoir aperçues sur place. J’ai goûté aussi, et j’ai trouvé ça assez fade. J’ai fini par demander à la barista de rajouter un peu de sirop d’agave, elle a été très sympa. Son collègue aussi, très détendu je lui ai demandé des verres d’eau, et il me les a donnés sans problème. Par contre, le service était très lent : ils n’étaient que deux à bosser, et vu le monde, ça suivait difficilement. Ça ne m’a pas dérangée plus que ça, mais mon amie l’a remarqué, et plusieurs personnes dans la file s’impatientaient.

Autre point à noter : il n’y a pas de toilettes, ce qui peut être embêtant si on reste un moment sur place. Lieu stylé et bien situé et les moulures au plafond sont magnifiques.
