My family and I checked in late at night at 11pm after a long train ride from Nice. There was nobody at the front desk and we eventually found the receptionist in the hotel restaurant having a burger. He reluctantly came to check us in and that means by giving us the keys and asking for money for foreign visitor fee before going back to his burger. He did not provide any other information for example the hotel wifi password or services the hotel provide such as there was coffee tea provided in the lobby for free. He was in a rush to get back to his burger.||My family booked two room types. One should be more premium than the other. When we noticed the two rooms were exactly the same, I tried calling to ask, but the in room phone was broken. So I walked down to the reception to ask about it. He was terribly unhelpful and extremely rude. He told me,”if you are not happy with the room, then get out! You are not the king, we do not welcome you here!” He was shouting at me in anger and gesturing at me to leave the hotel. Traumatised by his attitude and in fear of my life, I retreated back to my parent’s room, only to discover more issues with the room. The whole bed was covered in hair. My mum has already dusted most of it off before I got there, and when I saw the bed, it was still beyond disgusting. There was dirt and hair all over the bed, below and on top of the pillows and all over the duvet. The room was also very dirty and the toilet area as well with hair all over the toilet area and a sticky substance at the sink. My parents told me they had cleaned the room themselves cause it was so dirty. They had poor and uneasy sleep that night cause of the horrible condition of the dirty bed. I also had bad sleep in my room was I was truly frightened of my life due to how menacing the receptionist was towards me.||||The next day I brought the previous night’s happenings to the hotel manager. They had better attitude and said they will investigate and get back to us but never did.||I have stayed in hotels all over the world and never ever have I stayed with such fear, disgust and unease like I did in this hotel. I never felt welcomed or safe. The rooms are terribly small. Yes, the location is amazing, just walking distance to the louvre, but that doesn’t make up for the poor service or unhygienic conditions you receive at this hotel.||They deleted my review for goodness knows what reason and I’m...

Read moreI took my family of 6 on vacation to Paris and we were overall pleased with the accommodations at the Louvre Montana. The place is like a smaller boutique hotel, nicely remodeled in more modern colors and decor. The lobby although small compared to large commercial chains was beautiful and well planned with the limited space. Service by the staff was excellent. We were always greated with a pleasant smile as we came and left the hotel. The elevator was very small which required multiple trips to deliver our luggage to our rooms. However, the elevator nicely fit the hotel decor while maintaining the older, historic hotel vibe. Breakfast offered a variety of coffee, drinks, pastries, finger foods, sauces and fruits at a reasonable price compared to cafes near by. Although, all Paris is pricey. The location of the hotel was excellent. It was walking distance to the Lourve Museum, gardens, Norte Dame and Napoleon Square. It was also close to nearby train and bus stations. You will walk a ton in Paris, regardless! The size of the rooms were perfect especially if you upgrade to the ones with a view. Bathrooms were a good size compared to others we gave stayed in. All very clean and nicely decorated. We booked 3 rooms. 2 persons per room was very comfortable. Overall, we loved this hotel and would definitely...
