Well this place is a bit tricky. Let me explain: the music is cool and personally I like it. This place is so good if you entered before 22. After 22 security is acting out of manner ( depond on the night, if inside is crowded instead of explaining you can't enter beacause of space problem, they will find a problem on you. Like you are drunk, number of girls and boys in group, your clothes or any other excuse). 12 times I try get in, but 4 times they didn't let me in. Before 22 is free enter but after you it cost 15 euros with one free drink ( you can choose almost anything) Clockroom cost 2 euros. Price of beer start from 7. And most expensive drink was 12 as I remember. I can call the place expensive. It is so good place for dance and if you love to dance till morning for sure it is a good idea to go there. It's better to go there as a group, but for sure you can find a dance partner there :) The location is nice, you have access to RER B, night bus and metro 6 and 4. You can find bicycle station around. So don't be worry for going back to home :) At the end I can say if you go there early you can have a good night other case it is possible they ruined your night and don't...
Read moreIt seems like a cool bar from the outside, unfortunately the homophobic guard did not allow my girlfriend and I to enter the place. My straight friends were allowed though without any issue. Surprising discrimination in Paris.
My straight friends, my girlfriend and I were approaching the entry a Friday by 10 pm (in May, 2022), and me and my girlfriend were holding hands. The security guard stopped us and told my girlfriend and I were not allowed inside, under the excuse that "we had consumed alcohol before" (?? - Of course he wouldn't openly say the obvious reason, as we were completely sober). My straight friends where allowed though, without any problem.
I was not thinking to post this review, but after telling the story to other friends, we found it important to raise awareness on discriminative practices.
I strongly advice to the supervisor of the place to check the behavior of their personnel, I highly doubt that Oz adheres to a discrimination policy, mostly in this...
Read moreThe behavior of the security guy was extremely rude an intrusive. He approached me in the bar and asked me to put my luggage to the dressing room. His tone was absolutely inappropriate, somehow, he quickly became aggressive. However, it was a long day and I was meeting an old friend and I just did not feel like looking for another bar, so I agreed. There, his colleagues refused to take my luggage since they did not yet start their shift. So, I went back. Then I met this security guy again and he took me to his colleagues to the dressing room. After, his attention got captured by my small bag. He started insisting that I leave this one as well. Here I refused, since I have document there. Then he insisted on searching through my bag which was also absolutely inappropriate given the context of the situation. I would suggest avoiding this place. There are plenty other places where one can pay 10 euros for a beer and get a...
