Food really was excellent once it was prepared correctly and they deserve credit for that. Leeks and Escargot were a must. Two filets came out basically raw with a sear on the outside which to me sounds great but it definitely wasn’t “medium” and that’s what was ordered by the other guests.

Our biggest issue was with the service. We made a reservation for 5 as it was 4 adults and a toddler who sits on a chair. We noted that in the reservation and then changed it to a reservation for 4. Not sure why as that’s not what we entered on the website but we got an email about the change. When we arrived we pointed this out and then sat us at a 4 seat table and gave us the chair from the table next to us but told us we could not have that table as well and the toddler had to sit at the side of our 4 top. I asked if we had 5 adults if the we would be expected to do the same they said “no but the reservation was for 4”. It was not, that’s what they changed it to. It was an incredibly tight squeeze at tables that are already small for 4 let alone 4 + a toddler that you have to keep things away from while they are trying to grab.

I really wanted to be happy with the meal but between the situation with the reservation, the tight squeeze as a result, and then the steaks not being prepared to request and then bringing out the reheated steak that was already cut in half it was an incredibly frustrating experience aside from the food which I...

Great little corner place. Not crowded at 2 plus. Best to have their set. 2 from either the entree or main or desert. 3 choices from each. There is no paper menu. They bring a mini blackboard with the set menu. Or you can order a la carte from the wall menu plastered on a few walls.

Basket of baquette/bread given. A bit hard. Must ask separately for butter and/or olive oil. Ask for eau a la caraffe to get tap water.

There were 3 of us. Tried the salmon for entree. Good portion. Loved the combo of lemon juice and mustard sauce! It s an English mustard with a little bit of the heat of Japanese wasabi. Perfect with the small toast bread given.

We had one of each of the main: duck, beef and fish. Probably because we asked for well done, the beef and duck were a bit on the dry side. Still flavourful though. Loved the mash potato that came with the duck. Most like not good for the heart. French dries with the beef... normal. And some aubergine stuff with the fish..ok...not my favourite. Fish was so so partly because i personally prefer the traditional chinese steamed fish style. Beef was good though a bit on the tough side. Mid to big piece on the bone.

Ended with the chocolate souffle. Very good. Very sweet as i guess it should be.

Will probably go there to try...

인종차별 당했어요. 한국인 분들 여행 중에 저 같은 경험하지 않았으면 좋겠어서 후기 남깁니다.

I experienced racial discrimination. The female server smiled while taking orders from the white customers at other tables, wished them an enjoyable meal when serving their food, and even checked in during their meal to see if everything was okay. In contrast, she took my order with a stern face and responded coldly when I asked about the wine, which made me uncomfortable. She never checked if my food was okay, and when she served my dish, she left without saying a word.

Most importantly, I ordered the duck steak, but the meat was so tough that it was difficult to chew and tasted bad.

The tables were so close together that I felt like an unwanted third wheel on my neighboring table’s first date the entire time.

During my trip to France, most of the French people I met were kind, but this was the only place where I had an unpleasant experience.

Asian customers, be cautious about this restaurant.(It’s probably what she wants—Asian customers avoiding this...

We have booked Camille Passy for our New Year’s Eve dinner , but the restaurant made a mistake as they will be closed and have recommended us to their other branch Camille instead. It was a good alternative as it was much closer to where we lived. The restaurant has a lovely ambience and I like the interior very much. I loved how the menu was printed so delicately and it’s got a nice lovely touch to it. I ordered the Raw Herring tartare and my friend ordered the Burgundy Escargot. It was really good. We had the Turbot and the Rack of Lamb for mains. The lamb is superb, but I didn’t quite like the Turbot. The fish was cooked really well, but the lemon butter was to my taste a little over “buttery” and my spinach was too buttery too. The crème brûlée and espresso for dessert was great. The service was excellent and the servers were able to recommend wine to pair with our meals. Overall, I loved my experience here in Camille. Very much recommended.

I wanted to eat escargot, so I searched for a place and traveled an hour to get to the Marais district, but it was very inconvenient because the staff didn’t speak English. Everyone was smoking on the patio outside the restaurant, so I couldn’t tell if it was a restaurant or a smoking room. I visited in August, and the heat was unbearable, so I gave up on sitting outside and went inside, but the staff guided me to a corner seat. When I ordered, it felt like the staff intentionally ignored me, and I had to wait about 20 minutes. The food was good, but considering the Michelin-level prices, I wouldn’t come back. The service was so terrible that it ruined my mood. The escargot with basil pesto sauce was delicious, but the staff was extremely rude, which made me feel really bad. Even paying the bill took forever. Why not just take orders through a machine? It would be better for everyone, right?
