It is quiet strange for me to type this review as this pub was the very first establishment I visited in Paris when I was only 18 with a group of lads. Prices were still in francs, you could smoke inside and the owner was a massive man named Gilles and his wife Sylvie. I don't think I can ever recapture what we felt walking inside it that first time. It was an amazing feeling. Over the years, I came back, always with my large group of mates, sitting at the back, taking all the tables and there was even a young British student working there named Pennie. Those were the days! Anyway, I have some great memories of long nights in there with those crazy rugby and football matches. When I finally moved to Paris, I went back to the Celtic not as regularly but still with the same pleasure. One day, completely out the blue, I discovered that Gilles & Sylvie were retiring and selling to a younger team. I remember that we all drank to that. A nice farewell. To be fair, they have done a great job. I don't go back as often but when I do the atmosphere is fantastic, especially for the Six Nations. I really like the fact that they have attracted a new, vibrant and younger crowd. I remember sitting on my own last summer and meeting a nice couple from America. This is a great little pub that I highly recommend to anyone visiting or staying in 15th. RIP Gilles. Long Live The...

Very cool place! Friendly service, live sports on a large screen, nice choice of draft and bottled beers (even some Strongbow, a rarity here)… too bad the finger food isn’t home made but nice to have it on the menu nonetheless. Also really loved the rock’n’roll playlist, such a breath of fresh air compared to the garbage we usually hear in bars. Finally, great to see that they are enforcing the Covid safety protocols, it’s far...

Out of 3 different Irish bars we visited whilst in Paris, this was by far our favourite. Staff, atmosphere, drinks and food - 10/10! Within 10 minute walk from our hotel. We even had a go at the weekly Quiz night, even though it was in French. Staff all spoke English but could see they appreciated us trying out our French, albeit basic. Fish & chips, Burger & full tapas - mouthwatering. Between €15-€20 per meal.

A genuinely nice pub, run by genuinely nice people. Guinness is as good as it gets in Paris and if you are from Cork , well you can have Murphy's Stout instead. They also offer Murphy's Red which is more and more a rarity. Didn't get a chance to try the food but it looked very decent as well. Also worth mentioning that there's quite a few good dart players who are regulars! Highly recommended!

My favorite neighborhood pub. Nothing special, but about 10 types of draft beer and plenty of cheap snacks. It's good to have a glass of draft beer lightly when it's hot. It's a little disappointing that there is no outdoor space, but the inside space is spacious instead. I also like the atmosphere inside.
