I hope I can give infinity stars. The roasted duck is a must try. The taste of duck bursts in my mouth every bite. The salty of the duck mixes with the sweetness of the apricot which is amazingly good. I cannot think of a better match. The smoked side of the duck adds more flavour in it. The almond and the spinach adds more layer to the dish. It is like when monochrome tv becomes colorful. I enjoy the dish so much.
The dessert is coconut mousse with pinapple sorbet. The texture of the mousse is more like cream but a lightweight one. I thought it will be sugary but it is not that sweet that is great. Even you eat the whole dessert, it will not feel heavy! However, the ice melts fast and the fruit is soaked with alcohol (I guess) which may not fit for everyone.
The waiter and waitress are very nice and friendly.
Please be sure that you make reservation and book it on phone not through the website. I reserved on the website a week before the booked date but got cancelled on the day I go there (I noticed that after I go there...). It is very lucky that I still have a chance to enjoy the meal. Read more3,8/5 I had high hopes for this restaurant, and was excited when I booked a table. But I have to say I was disappointed after have dinner there with a friend. Tight wooden seating which adds an authentic feel, open kitchen where you can see the chefs working tirelessly in their dishes. The owner & staff are cool & professional! We had the veal croquettes with labneh (cream cheese) and hummus: the veal was tender and juicy, labneh was also tasty. Hummus however was grainy and bland. Entrée: roasted octopus with grilled peppers and chorizo. That was a tasty dish, complementary savors, well cooked and fresh! I opted for the Wagyu steak with a vegetable mix. Priced at 41€, you get 2 thin slices of steak which weren’t cooked properly and overly salty. A big disappointment for a dish marked as « our exceptional meat ». A nice bottle of Les Perruches went well with our courses. We finally shared the pineapple confit with coconut mousse. Very refreshing and fruity flavors! I will go back to try it a second time, but my first impression was it being overpriced with the quantity &...
Read moreWe arrived just after it opened at 7pm, there was 4 of us and we quickly ordered our food. We had all elected for mains no starters. The restaurant started to fill, people were being turned away who had not booked. We waited, the waitress offered us one of their starters while we waited, and we waited. Most of the other guests had been served when our warm food finally came out after 8pm. It was nice but nothing special. We ordered deserts and after making a comment on length of time, these quickly appeared. We requested the bill, only to be charged not just for the starter but the extra placed on the plate as there was 4 of us. When questioned the owner/ manger said it was what it was, if we could do any better we were welcome to try. We will not be...
