Dining at Chez Eduardo in Paris with friends was an experience that had its highs and lows. The location in the city center is great. Upon entering the restaurant, I noticed it was crowded with booked tour groups, which created a lively atmosphere. I ordered escargots, but I found the dish a bit disappointing; the filling was a green sauce rather than the traditional butter version. On a positive note, my grilled duck was fantastic—juicy and delicious, definitely a standout dish. The steak meat was tough but the grilled Salmon (or trout Salmon, can't make the difference) was excel. The staff at Chez Eduardo were friendly and provided quick service, which I greatly appreciated. However, the manager (or owner) left a negative impression. I observed him being rude to other customers and refusing to let some early arrivals use the restrooms despite having reservations. This behavior was uncalled for and left a sour taste in my mouth, especially for the affected customers, particularly the women. While the food quality varied from dish to dish, the friendly staff and prompt service were commendable. Unfortunately, the unprofessional behavior of the manager overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable dining experience. Given the evening's chill, it's understandable that patrons may need to use the restrooms after having a few glasses of wine. I believe that being considerate should be a basic virtue in hospitality. I believe this place is mainly popular with...
Read moreWe have the speediest French cuisine in a restaurant setting in less than an hour!!!
Seem like this restaurant specialises to serve tour groups. And the waiters keep asking "finished", " done" so that they can clear the plates and serve next dish.
I ordered the steak and I couldn't even finish it. 1st , it's not that nice, not steak but beef fillet that I have.
2ndly, though it is a French restaurant, who could have imagine that it turn into a rowdy atmosphere together with another big tour group using loudspeaker in the restaurant for their own activities.
We feedback to the waiter if the other group could lower the volume or not use the loudspeaker as it is affecting everyone for a dinner. They didn't do anything so we have to request ourselves to the other group , only to met with louder noises. The restaurant owner did not do anything and we have to complete our dinner with ear pains.
Gather the restaurant owner should not have us seated with the big group should they want to use loudspeaker. This is really annoying!
French cuisine?!! This is how it end , no class as...
Read moreMy experience leads me to believe that this establishment is nothing more than a tourist trap facilitated by an arrangement between the owner and Chinese travel agents.
The menu, which purportedly offers classic French cuisine, falls woefully short of authenticity. What was served was a far cry from the delightful and nuanced flavors that define French cooking. The dishes appeared hastily prepared and lacked the finesse and quality ingredients indicative of true French culinary artistry. It was disheartening to see such a misrepresentation of a cuisine that's known for its elegance and sophistication. Service, too, was mediocre at best. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, which only added to the overall feeling of being swindled. I urge potential patrons to seek out genuine French dining experiences elsewhere, and not be swayed by this restaurant’s deceptive marketing tactics. The true essence of French cuisine deserves much...
