Chez Hu Thaï — Restaurant in Paris

Ok so i’m a big boy who needs a decent amount of food to be satisfied...

and I understand that this is a fancier restaurant than most (nothing much on the menu under 20€) but the Pad Thaï that I had was very small. Very good ! But very small. (Three shrimps total)

Ps the pad thaï was the only main dish that was under 20€

All three of us were happy with the food but they offered us two small water bottles (instead of a big one) that were both open before getting to us (never a good sign) and both bottles cost 6€ each !! And they were half a litter bottles (or smaller). And when one ask for water and is being hustled two (and they made sure that our glaces were being filled up) is never really pleasant...

So paying 12€ just for water is never fun.

The waiters and waiters were really nice and the food arrived fast.

I can’t say that I will be back cause of all the above. But if you enjoy good food and have a small stomach and a bit of cash to spend, this is the right...

We found Chez Hu by searching google in the area of our hotel. Reviews were good but still felt like we were taking a chance. And I can say that it was totally worth it.

We arrived when it opened. It is a small, intimate space and very inviting. The staff was friendly & seemed happy to host us. We ate some dim sum, noodles and the caramelized chicken and it was all perfect. We had a bottle of a Red Sancerre that was a tasteful surprise to round out the meal.

The rest of the patrons that joined after us seemed to know the staff & be regulars, which we loved. It solidified our thought that it is a small restaurant that’s able to hone in on that masterful tastes of their...

Wow!! Spending the weekend here and this is by far the best meal of 2023 so far!!! What can I say... the second we walked in, until we waked out the door, we were treated like a King & Queen. The menu is in three different languages (English one of them) and the food is to die for. Its a mixture of Thai and Chinese.
