Chongqing Cuisine — Restaurant in Paris

I made an order via Ubereat at 19:52 and made the payment. The order was supposed to arrive within 25 - 50 minutes. But then at 20:55, i received a message from Ubereat telling me that the order had been cancelled because the restaurant was not taking any more order.

I called the restaurant to inquire about the situation and the guy at the phone told me they had no more ingredient left so they had to cancel the order. Cancelling the order in itself was not the problem but doing it one hour later when the order was supposed to have arrived already is utterly outrageous. The guy at the phone blamed everything on Ubereat saying that they received the order late. There was apparently a delay in transferring the order from the part of Ubereat, but I still found the one hour delay ridiculous so i pressed on. The guy admitted that they were too busy to check the orders they received from the platform. And he later said sorry - only because he wanted me to hang up (the phone call lasted 3 minutes), not because he was sincerely sorry about the inconvenience and disappointment they have...

Arrived just before the dinner rush around 20:00, had to wait a minute for the server to clear a table as there were 7 of us so it wasn't an inconvenience, recommend anyone coming with a larger party to arrive earlier since soon after we sad many pairs came to sit and it filled up quite quickly.

Food: The food was very authentic and prepared very fast, portion sizes weren't huge like back home but it was the perfect amount and we all left full and satisfied

Service: wait staff was very patient with us and even described the portion sizes to us prior to ordering, there was a bit of a miscommunication from the order taker and the guy behind the counter but it was rectified really quick and we received the cappuccino that was missed.

Atmosphere: The decor was pretty plain with white walls, nothing like the other restaurants in the area, but it was very clean and well kept for the space provided.

All in all was a good experience and would definitely go again whenever I come...

The cuisine is exquisite. It’s a complete getaway experience field every time I go there. Just name it… from fish to chicken to beef to pork to seafood it’s a explosion of flavor, perfume, spices, vegetables combinations… OOOLALAH J’ADORE And if I want to please a friend or family member, or anyone that is dear to me, I will straight away without agitation take them to share that...
