Great tasting French cuisine in a restaurant with good ambiance. The concierge at our hotel recommended Citrus and it did not disappoint. My party went for dinner. The menu changes monthly. We ordered the Foie Gras appetizer(this was my first time having it and it just isn’t my thing), the pork cheeks, and scallops with pistachio crème brûlée for dessert. I’ve never had pork cheeks and was little skeptical but wow!! It was yummy…stewed to perfection with a gravy that had many layers of flavor. The scallops were cooked to perfection laying in a fluffy parsnip purée with hints of lobster coming from the lobster bisque. The pistachio crème brûlée was creamy with the perfect amount of pistachio flavor but not overpowering.

Food quality is fine, but it suffers from a problem a lot of restaurants in Paris have which is not enough food for the price you pay. The taste will be fine, but you'll spend more than you would like and you will leave hungry. Ambiance is good but it does have some issues. The restaurant is in a dead zone for cell phone data reception, yet also does not have any wifi. They're fine serving bread, but shockingly feel it's necessary to charge $2 for butter? Unheard of. Not in the most convenient location either. So on paper the restaurant does everything right, but it has some glaring problems holding it back...
