Mikuna — Restaurant in Paris

The food was just fine, my ceviche was good, but nothing remarkable, which generally I would give a 3/4 stars review. I have already been in Peruvian restaurants in my hometown (Florence) and it was also great, not only for the food, but for the people serving there. But I have to give two stars for the service, which was disappointing to say the least. A passive aggressive attitude from the waiters (those on the evening of the 8th of March), they truly live up to the clichés that some have about Parisian service. One of the worst services of my life !!! J'espère que vous pourriez avoir un autre niveau d'expérience, la mienne...

Je suis passée un peu avant midi pour acheter à emporter et il n'y avait qu'une personne qui était en train d'être servie. Je pousse la porte pour entrer en disant bonjour. L'une des deux femmes se tourne pour regarder si je ferme bien la porte et aucune ne répond. Au bout de 5 minutes elles finissent de parler en espagnol et me dit je vous écoute. Je viens pour passer commande et elles se retournent de nouveau pour continuer leur discussion. J'attends de nouveau et elle me redit je vous écoute. Je réitère mon bonjour et enfin l'une des deux me dit bonjour L'autre client s'en va et celle qui a pris ma commande déguste des frites en vente sur le comptoir pendant que sa collègue prépare en me tournant le dos toutes les 2 et m'encaisse par la suite. Il faudrait penser à embaucher du personnel un aimable et 2 qui respecte les règles d'hygiène (dégustation des plats à vendre, même personne qui encaisse et prépare). Je rentre pour manger mon burrito au porc et je découvre qu'il y a des haricots rouges (non mentionnés dans les ingrédients) D'autre part le porc était sans saveur et il y a avait 80% de riz et de haricots rouges et pas du tout le chou mentionné dans les ingrédients Pour résumer c'était ma première expérience mais ça...

This place is wonderful. The food is delicious and not expensive. I had the Nekkei ceviche, causa and the chicha morada to drink. The waitress was so friendly and helped me select the right food. She spoke great English. I took a chicken empanada for the road and it was perfect. Flaky and flavorful. Next time I’m in the Bastille neighborhood I’ll be going back...
